Prager teaches that actions are more important than feelings. How we feel, how we are tempted, and how depressed we feel are not relevant. That is our basic nature at work. By acting virtuous, by withstanding temptation, by doing good, by acting happy, we feel and become virtuous, good, happy and a positive force among people, rather than a drag upon them.
Prager has it nailed about happiness, and he possesses great wisdom.
