Is Stirner Correct?

Is Stirner correct in insisting that the self is the completely self-justifying, all that really matters, and that the self is end-all and be-all.

He overstates his case, but he is right more than wrong. All or most things should be mediated through the individual the self, as an objective self more than a subjective self as Stirner desired.
