Self-Absorbed Stirner

Stirner wanted the unique one to be utterly absorbed in his own person and life, without interest in, concern for, or allegiance owed to God, country, family, ethical code or tribal affinity.

This seems narrow and selfish, but it need not be, with some modifications. We do owe allegiance to God, the state and many other collective or social structures, but primarily the egoist existence is the way to firm up these communal interests.
