I am all for personal assertiveness, but Stirner's cynical assertion that might is right and we should use force to grab as much property and to use other people as we will, deeply offends and disturbs me.
As a normative egoist, I like his general ethical thrust, but his ethical manifesto could be something written onto a banner or flag of Nazis, criminals or Communists as they rob, rape, murder and invade their neighbors.
