Dennis Prager was talking on the radio the other day about how young adults that do not commit to getting married for years and years, are missing the boat. It is usually men that threat girlfriends this way, and Dennis urges the girls to sever the connection.
He may love her, but he will not get married until it feels right. Dennis wants us to commit ourselves early and firmly (after some careful weighing of the options, their pros and cons) to a course of action. If we act, then accompanying feelings of reassurance often follow. In life, we must act. Delay and indecision stunts moral growth and the chance to grab personal happiness when the right girl comes along.
