The actualized self is a personal creation. That must be done and worked out by the self, for the self. Only the self can carry it out.
The perfecting or close to being perfected self, then, is an active process of growth, learning, honing skills and inventing, over time, decades, a life time. This admirable state of acquired, near perfection is not self-existent, for it must be created. But the creator is not an external mover of some kind. Rather, the creator must and can only be the self working on the self as a work of art and science, a gift given back to the Creator God who allowed the self to exist, to try and self-perfect.
Have at it. Make something of yourself.
