MInd Your Own Business--Its Egoistic Implications

If we would tend to our own business and leave our neighbors alone, it would be a much better world. Some sage spoke about we would be more inclined to mind our own business if it were worth minding. True.

If one lived individually, one works harder and invents things to do just to fill the void of emptiness, nothingness, eerie silence and barrenness. If that lonely, frightened, rootless person would individuate and follow the Mother and the Father, the greatest of all all self-actualizers, then the void is not loner horrifying, empty and meaningless.

One of the primary motives of the creator is to make living alone a viable concern. To create, to invent, to build, to organize, to make cosmos out of chaos, meaning out of meaninglessness, to love and conserve, to propagate, nourish and extend biological life in its richness and wonder, both flora and fauna, to help grow God's kingdom--all these meaningful and essential tasks are what make life alone bearable in the negative sense, and rewarding and fulfilling, the the positive sense. To maverize is to become more angelic, and a mini-creator at work in the universe.

To live as a maverized egoist is the most unselfish act that such an egoist can ever share with the community. When he lives in primary self-sufficieny, and actualized liberty, he is not minding the business of others, which is for each of them to mind for themselves. By not interfering and getting out of the way, he empowers them to focus, to wake up and figure out what they are to be doing, how to do it, and then to get on with it. That sacrifice of group-living and interfering in the internal affairs of other is an act of pure kindness.

God can be an angry God when shunned, slighted and ignored long enough:  Beware the day of wrath: "Make vows to the Lord, your God, and fulfill them; let all round about him bring gifts to the terrible Lord Who checks the pride of princes, who is terrible to the kings of the earth."

Alternative Social Media

Conservatives are increasingly look for alternative social media and media in general. No more fake news, no Facebook censorship and shadow banning. Enough is enough.

Selfishness

Selfishness is a natural behavior accompanying group-living and selfless altruism.

Generosity of spirit is a learned behavior that comes more readily to individual-livers and individualists than joiners, for, as the former love themselves, they come to love others too, and fee well disposed towards them.

Mixed Motives Ssurrounding Egoism

The moral moral motives are innate drives for us. We are complex creatures. We are depraved because our primary drive is altruism. If well-reared, we grow into indidivudalism, individuating and chasing mostly after enlightened self-interest.

When most or all are minding their own business and making money and art, they do not have time to be group-living non-achievers bothering others, keeping them poor, sick, uneducated, unhapy, enslaved, oppressed and exploited.

We still can be altruistic as a secondary moral motives.

Should Hate Be Censored

Dennis Prager has a video on this. I do not accept that any speech should be censored. The act of censoring is pure evil and pure hate, and is much worse than bigoted, allegedly bigoted, or  unpopular speech could ever be.

Final Ends And Egoism

Are our final ends altruistic or egoistic?  If we follow traditional altruistic faith, are nonindividuators and living with being basically wicked with no solid self-reforms implemented, our primary aims are bad altruistic ends.

If we follow  traditional altruistic faith, are nonindividuators, but are good people and believers, then are primary or end aims are good, altruistic one.

If we are that rare person that follows postmodern egoist faith and embraces egoist ethics, is an individuator and good person, then one primary and ultimate ends  will be mostly egoist, but some will be altruistic.

If we are that rare person that follows postmodern egoist ethics and egoist faith or no faith, or worships Lera, and is an inviduator, then that agent's ultimate ends will be altruistic (leader of the sinful mob)  and wicked, but also egoistic and wicked.

Breitbart Article

There is an article in Breitbart tonight about the school leaders in a chrter grade school in Atlanta. They were replacing the Pledge of Allegiance with a progressive pledge that was more "inclusive and connected" The new pledge would focus on the students' civic responsibility "to their school, family, community, country and our global society."

The uproar from parents and the taxpayers scotched that foolish plan. Just so.

Coveting And Egoistic Ethics

Prager has a great video on the 10th Commandment prohibiting coveting that leads to violations in behavior of Commandments 6, 7, 8  & 9. Yahweh prohibits us to covet what belongs to another.

Now Dennis is a altruist and I am an egoist. Therefore, I really believe that the Commandment from God against coveting what belongs to a neighbor is   an undeveloped admission that God, as now revealed by me, is an individualist. Not coveting what belongs to our neighbor is ethical property right and keeping society civil, and a virtuous people respecting the rule of law in a well-ordered democracy that is good for all.

When we refuse to covet what belongs to another, we deprive him not  of his power and liberty to individual-live and self-realize as a budding living angel serving God.

What Prager scolds about to prevent coveting from altruist ethics is praiseworthy and correct, but I wish to extend and convert its scope and range to apply to egoist ethics to provide individualists and individuals with the freedom, clout and material wealth to launch their lives of individuation.

Gun Free Zones

You claim that you do not  believe in committing suicide.  That is commendable. Then you turn around and support your corporate culture and implemented policy of putting up large, bright signs by the entrances to your businesses warning gun-carriers that you are a gun-free zone. You have just announced to every aggrieved crazy in the world that you are a soft, helpless target.

Now, proclaim your real policy about suicide. You forbid the self to kill the self outside of work, but individual suicide and group-suicide is laudable, politically correct and potential in your gun-free zone of a workplace. smart, real smart. This is what happens when fuzzy-thinking progressive implement programs without understand untoward consequences.

Johnathan Mooney

My sister-in-law posted  Johnathan Mooney's video (I Proved Thexcm Wrong) on  Facebook. Heroic, very disabled, total failure,  Mr. Mooney overcame several disabilities to become a writer and success, an English major. He avows that each human being has a strength, a talent an interest to build a life on. He advises: "Find your strengths and compensate for  your weaknesses."

I have been writing about maverization for 20 years or so and it is pretty much finding that strength, that talent or that interest that you can build a life on. Whether one believes in God as the Father, the Mother, Mother Earth, Jesus, Allah, Yahweh, Buddha, etc., my philosophy and religion of Mavellonialism is applicable to each faith whose followers worship a specific deity. Mavellonialism is meant to inspire each individual to find her calling, that one thing that God put you here to do, to do well, originally, artistically beautifully.

Then like accomplished, inspiration Johnathan Mooney,  you can excel to the nth degree, no longer self-loathing yourself as stupid, lazy, crazy and deficient, to use Mooney's  words.

He wants disabilities redefined as special, wonderful differences, upon which anyone can build a much better life. Well said, well lived, and well done.     

The Future

I envision God's future for human self-governance, here on earth in the high civilization, in the future, where and when God again rules the earth.

The majority of Americans will be self-actualized individuators. These living angels will calmly, easily, matter-of-factly wield super powers as smoothly as do superheroes in the comics.

Let us predict and anticipate how such living, regular superheroes would act ethically and then politically. Enlightened self-interest will be their moral code.

These supercitizens will al be involved, informed and engaged in political participation of a very high order as voters, politicians,rulers and ruled. Their constitutional republic will be run by honest citizen/amateur politicians who are efficient, frugal, devoted, transparent, idealistic, revolving-door-leadersip ( term limits).

There will be minimum government agencies, regulators, and regulations on all levels but they will be federal, state and local institutions that are powerful entities without mission creep at amass power and reach for career officials and politicians that turn on the voters.

This wondrous state of politics is made possible when the majority work for God, and maverize--this wondrous state of goodpublic administration is quite achievable, once the voters get their act together.

If things are well run, it is the voters that are to be praised and rewarded. If things look like thing in Newark, the voters are to be chastised and yelled it, to get it together, individually, and then collectively as a city, a state, a nation.

The Power Of Deniability

NAGR has a great Facebook posting today in which they cite Chicago as #1 in gun control and #1  in gun violence. The two are cause and effect related, but the Left cannot see it and keeps demanding more gun control from the lawabiding, while the lawless felons doing the killing get all the illegal guns on the street that they can want, and flout of legal limits, regardless.

Why does  the Left not admit they are wrong, and move with us to ban gund control laws?  The answer is that they have an almost impenetrable sense of their own rightness, high intelligence and moral superiority. Therefore, they do not make mistakes in assumption, conclusions or judgments, so they do not ever need to reevaulate what is going wrong, and how it is incumbent upon them to make a fresh start.

Fear Not

Let God's glory and presence in your whole person fill you with the confidence and sureness that you can face anything. Fear will still be an emotion that you know, but it is not one that will hold you back.

Miraculous

It is said that Jesus raised the dead and that by dying on the cross, that he defeated death and corruption forever. I believe that is true. God does have the power of love and life over death and loathing.

We humans cannot conquer or avoid or date with death, but our souls as living angels can conquer and transcend death in service to the Mother and the Father.

Self-Sufficiency

 The more you are able to rely on yourself, the less a burden you are to others, the government and to society at large. You go from being selfless, a taker supported by the system, to be a producer that supports himself, pays taxes and makes a contribution.

Serving Children

If school systems and teachers are really inclined to serve children, they will teach children the basics and slowly moved them to individual-living, hard work, self-reliance, independent studies and an adulthood of self-realization, and lifelong love of learn and self-perfecting. If schools are not teaching these fundamentals, they are not teaching children nor serving them well.

To raise them as nonindividuating, group-living, lazy, broken conformist group think little bureaucrats that believe the Leftist propaganda fed them by the educational machine, the the schools should be broken up to end this ruination and disservice to children.

Egoism And Pleasure

Some egoist believe that we are  born to or should pursue our self-interest,  seeking what pleases us or is pleasurable, and avoid what pains us, or is painful.

There is so much confusion out there about defining what is good for us (good pain is good for us and good pleasure is good for us, and we can and should pursue these) and how it is tautologous with what is pleasurable.

 There is as much haziness of boundaries about what constitutes good pain (dieting, self-control, the muscle burn that comes from a hard work out, and the social rejection felt  by siding with someone down and out against a bullying crowd of popular attackers, thus shunned for siding with the innocent victim). What constitutes bad pain is torturing or beating another, murdering another, verbal cruelty to another, committing suicide, the hangover felt after over-drinking, and coming down from a drug high.

What constitutes what is good pain and good pleasure or what is bad pain and bad pleasure are concepts that books of philosophy and ethics could be written about at length.

I  will limit it here to suggesting that the virtuous egoist would want to pursue or at least rise up to suffer good pain (fighting, getting wounded or dying to defend one's country) because it is the duty that the self must honor, and that morally and spiritually, that is what the self must do to be a good person, to please God and  to make it to heaven (grace, good works and heroic behavior all help one get to heaven).  Changing a dirty diaper on one's baby would be a good pain endured.

The virtuous egoist must shed bad pain (getting drunk, beating women children or pets), slamming one's fist into a concrete wall, murdering someone. Bad pain can be self-mutilation, or having a heart attack due to years of bad food and no exercise, or inflicting pain upon another.

The virtuous egoist would seek after good pleasure (watching football, writing a poem, saying a prayer, helping an old lady across the street, loving the self and others, solving a philosophical puzzle, growing flowers, solving a low voltage lighting short, eating pizza, enjoying sex with one's partner, self-actualizing).

The virtuous egoist would avoid bad pleasure (addiction of any kind, stealing, joyriding down the freeway and 135 mph endangering others, harming self or others, praying to or serving Satan).

The virtuous altruist would pursue good pleasure (allowing others to be free and self-absorbed and self-reliant) and good pain (willing to fight for his nation or family no matter the consequences, get up and work everyday no matter how grueling or tiring, etc.).

The wicked altruist would chase after bad pain and bad pleasure. A member of the Mafia or criminal gang or member of the SS would fit this role well.

If the virtuous egoist and virtuous altruist spread love and good power relations in the world (where people are allowed to maverize, live free, know love, knowledge and art, to know God, liberty and material plenty and good health), they would be close to spurning bad pain and bad pleasure, and embracing good pain and good pleasure.

If  the vicious egoist and vicious altruist hate themselves, serve the Evil Spirits, hate others, and push group-living, nonindividuation, hierarchical institutional living, socialism, totalitarianism and mob rule with a Stalin at the top of the heap, they have gone far towards eschewing good pleasure and good pain, and gather to themselves and increase the quantity and range of bad pain and bad pleasure.

Ethical Egoism As Normative

I am not much of a scholar but I have been deeply influenced by Philosophy Professor Alexander Moseley's article on egoism in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy. He describes ethical egoism as an ethical program prescribed by backers of egoism that urge that people should follow their own self-interest, and indeed it is their duty to follow their own self-interest. He refers to this ethical view as a normative one. I have adopted his use of the technical word "normative" as how I prescribe my version of ethical egoism, that we are ordered by the Ultimate Individualists, the Mother and the Father, to pursue our self-interest, but it must be an enlightened, heavenly, ennobling self-interest that fills us and all that we encounter with love.

Moseley uses the world descriptive as typical of psychological egoism, in that it describes a view of human nature that we naturally, mostly or wholly, are motivated by self-interest. I am borrowing his phrase descriptive to describe how we are naturally motivated, but I characterize people as psychological altruists, more than naturally being psychological egoists. I also conclude that this innate failing is why we are in such trouble as creatures, and make so much trouble for the world and ourselves. We cannot help it. We just are this way.

Egoistic Moral Motives

It is not easy or clear as to what are our natural motivating moral motives. Likely, there are several in the pots that drive us, our biological and spiritual origins. We are egoistic descriptively  and that is a primary normative requirement for us, commanded by the Good Spirits.

We are also motivated naturally and spiritually by altruistic drives, and desires. These drives should be elected (also instinctive of course) to be acted upon by us of our own free will, as normative behavior, as our moral motive of secondary rank (after egoistic  chasing after our desires). This is prescribed by the Good Spirits.

We now have our marching orders.  To act to please ourselves first, and to please and benefit society second. Of course, enlightened self-interest is really about the only way that society good is met. The deontological requirement is met. We must do our duty for the sake of the right moral motive first (to complete acquistion of our self-interest) and the consequences of this  good work benefits us and society in this world and the next as a result.

Cannot Help It? Being Altruistic?

We are psychological altruists more than we are psychological egoists. This is how God made us, and we cannot help but be and act according to these determining psychological tendencies. We always have some free will, and can choose to be motivated by altruism or by self-interest, but these motives are cultivated in us artificially (building on innate, involuntary impulses) as conscious, freely willed motives, as brought up ethically by community, society, family and under the tutelage our our faith and its pastors.

That we are born psychological altruists, and society raises us to be trained altruists (selfless and community oriented) as nonindividuators and group-livers, whatever free will that we wield as unenlightened group-livers, will incline us to choose behaviors that are engaged in for the sake of the individual self as a member of the community, and for the sake of the general good or general will of the community. This is the hope and aim of traditional ethicists, but they are doomed mostly to fail, and make people more wicked, more unhappy, farther from God and heaven, sicker, more self-loathing and poorer and more enslaved than they otherwise would need to end up being.

To escape our animalistic, bestial, nonindividuating level of base existence (an unfulfilling, inescapable, relatively miserable existence), we humans must acknowledge our sinful natures, our primary deterministic state of being--our wills and souls are automatons ruled internally by instinct, nature and Bad Spirits--and elect a life of nurturing those better, superior parts of our natures and souls, to individualize, maverize and individual-live as a self-actualizing future angel of God, growing in love, excellence, freedom, freedom of the will, heightened consciousness and developed, displayed genius and demonstrated artistic brilliance.

This preferable, alternative, higher level of existing is developing our biological and spiritual potential into complete actuality. The motives grow with proportionate growth in freedom of the will. We grow in elected coursing after enlightened self-interest, and secondarily in enlightened other-interest. These are the moral motives of the living saint.

Psychological Egoism

Philosophy Professor Alexander Moseley, in an Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy article, characterizes psychological egoism as a descriptive account of people's motivations, wherein he suggests that we are naturally driven by motives and desires of self-interests, be they immediate ends or ultimate ends sought.

There is much to what he says. As I have written elsewhere, this is descriptive, describing how  humans are. Moseley refers to it as descriptive egoism. I believe instead, that how we are naturally, a descriptive accounting of our egoistic tendencies, is that we are primarily psychological altruists. We are motivated by chasing after the groups' interests. Only in a small way, I believe are people naturally psychological egoists.

Our natural psychological altruism, our selflessness, our self-loathing, is what makes us basically evil and selfish.

If we were natural psychological egoists, our self-interest would be a sensible, enlightened, rational self-interest would make us mostly self-absorbed, but not in a selfish, sordid way, but in  a logical, generous, humane way that benefits the self first, and others, secondarily. As psychological egoists, we would be angelic, and closer to the basic natures of the Mother and the Father, than Satan and Lera.                                                                    

Leftism

This ideology makes people sick, emotional, delusional, fanatical, dishonest and mendacious. If a group of  them get together and talk and act upon these ailments, they can become crazy and mentally ill.

Lapses Of Judgment

We are all guilty of making errors of judgment. Some argue that either one is born is common sense and judgment or one is not, regardless of level of formal education.

They deny that judgment and wisdom can be taught. They have a point, but are too pessimistic on this point. If one begins talking to God, if one is in connection with the Good Spirits, if one becomes cautious, prudent, curious, skeptical and deliberate, one can begin learning to become wise. As an individuator, as he becomes more logical and contemplative, his intellectuality and his new found integrity will lead him to begin making wiser choices.

Mueller To Be Prosecuted?

Trump needs to fire Session, Rosenstein and Mueller. Then Mueller needs to be prosecuted for abuse of prosecutorial powers for political favoritism for Democrats and political disfavoritism against REpublican.

If what he is doing is unethical but legal, Congress needs to pass a law making it illegal so we can prosecute and jail criminal rogue prosecutors attacking Trump and innocent or selectively prosecuted Trump supporters.

Our Motives: Egoistic Or Atruistic?

Moderation dictates that we are motivated by both egoistic and altruistic motives. We do  things for our own sake, and we can do thing for others that either are not in our self-interest or seem in no way to  be connected to our obvious self-interest.

When I declare that people are born depraved, I describe their moral natures as motivated naturally by altruistic desires more than weak, sputtering but present egoistic desires.

The mature, individualistic adult is more self-seeking more than other-seeking but he is motives by both desires in a kind, calm, reasonable manner.

52.1% of children live in a household that receives some kind of government check. No wonder socialism is popular among the young. We have a long way back to go to make America great again.

We all have failings. What we do about them is what makes us special and remarkable, or not.

Breaking Up Google

Conservatives are looking at Internet and social media alternatives to Google, Twitter, Facebook and others that are shadow banning and outright censoring free speech and conservative speech.

My writing has likely been shadow banned; I am not even able to find Mavellonialism in Wikipedia.  Why has Wikipedia not carried my philosophy so people can find it and learn and read about it.

If I post on Facebook,  my entries disappear.

We need free and open speech in all markets, especially the Internet market. Ban none.

Identity Politics Is Not Egoistic

Individuals are all born basically wicked and born racist, feeling superior to and hostile to any at all different from ourselves in faith, language, skin color, etc.

As individuals individuate and pursue their enlightened self-interest, they are indifferent to the ethnic differences between themselves and other people, members of some politically defined identity group. Ethically, they have transcended hating anyone, because they love themselves, and no longer hate anyone else. Bigotry at is roots come from self-loathing. When one no longer hates the self, one no longer needs to hate anyone else; thus racism disappears.

To further divide the American public into myriad identity groups is a progressive aim of high priority. If people can be degraded and reduced to nonindividuating group-livers, wards of Big Government, trapped and miserable and enslaved inside their assigned identity group, bigotry and hatred will grow and grow. As discord and strife increase and ratchet up, racial war is not  unfathomable.

Identity politics accentuation is the cruelest and most savage game played by the Left in America today.

Media pundits talk so much bloviated crap. If they were educated Mavellonialists, they would be less inclined to be owned and talk crap.

Selfishness

Can an ethical egoist be selfish? Of course, there are times when all of us are selfish, and there are times when all of us are selfless and generous.

To espouse ethical egoism or its alternative, ethical altruism, is to espouse by proclamation and intent, a system of values intended to guide our behavioral choices over a lifetime.

To live as a good person under either ethical system, and both systems are ethical and good (more or less) one must practice what one preaches.

The ethical egoist that believes it is noble and even one's duty as an individual to live by the primary  (not sole motive) motive of pursuing one's enlightened self-interest. Enlightened self-interest would include such things at individuating, painting pictures, serving humanity on a heroic level, building a business empire.

The pursuit of this self-interest is not a communal concern. It involves the individual and his life, his happiness, his property and his liberty.

Now, if he speeds up on the free way and cuts off an entering car to the point of running that car into the ditch, he endangers those in the car. That is selfish and dangerous, and its involves others. The individuating driver would let one care in for the sake of all, but also because he is fair, square, moderate, reasonable and equitable--giving others a chance to enter the freeway is safer, better for all. The suicidal desperate move to always be #1 with all other cars behind him is selfish, ruthless, unsafe and vicious. Still, this selfishness is a social phenomenon, with law of the jungle implications, for how a selfish brute misbehaves in his interactions with others. He is mostly a nonindividuator and a joiner. Therefore, selfish misbehavior is more often an offshoot of group-living and altruist immorality than it is an outgrowth of individual-living, egoist morality and courteous treatment of neighbors.

If I own the only neighborhood grocery store in a poor neighborhood where people walk to my store because they have no transportation, and I know this, and I have a monopoly on their business, and I gouge them by tripling prices on goods to maximize my profits, my cunning is a selfish, base cunning. I am misbehaving ethically and perhaps criminally, but my selfish behavior is a communal concern,  not an individual concern. Again, selfishness is between people, not a relation of the self towards to self, ordinarily.

Censored

Facebook is no longer just shadow banning conservative speech.  They have banned at least three Prager U  videos.

This requires a lawsuit to right. Banning classy free speech like what Prager and his thinkers use is not  banning hate speech, but is the hateful  banning  of  truth speech, and that cannot stand unchallenged.

Loathing Our Political Opponents

A civil society cannot be maintained, unless people agree to disagree without hating, trashing or attacking the opposition.

This is uncivil and can lead to violent clashes. In the age of Leftist identity politics, they are to blame for making it this way. 

When in-groups regards itself to superior,  to members of outgroups, intellectually, ideologically and morally, then this ramps up the rivalry and dehumanization of outsiders.

We must live as individualists, and they live-and-let-live, without intolerantly hating, attacking or coercing people with rival or dissimilar beliefs.

Pleasure

Pleasure chasing is a self-interested motive lived by the egoist, but pursuing  pain may be occasionallly studied and emphasized.

There is good pain and good pleasure. There is wicked pain and wicked pleasure, and hedonism will not suffice, not giving people what they needs.

Ethical Egoism

I am an ethical egoist. I do propose that self-interest,  (especially enlightened self-interest) should be the primary moral motive, but altruist motives are acceptable if secondary moral motives.

The pursuit of the enlightened self-interest is to individuate as God commands, to release and maximize the power, beauty, love and creativity of the self, becoming a living angel, a soldier and proponent of extending God's kingdom everywhere in this world and the  next.

Selfishness Studied For Book On Egosim

I opine that it is the nonindividuating altruists that are selfish. The individuating egoists are beyond selfishness. They seek not pleasure but see it as their joy and their duty to mavrize and serve God, and they hold and admit that enlightened  self-interests benefits the individual and the community at large.

Where people are joiners, low achievers, they exist like vying beasts in the jungle. Their seeking to make it in this dog-eat-dog arena called life propels them to be selfish, and that is in concert with their instinctive, emotional  decision-making capacities.

Higher functioning humans that maverize are more logical, rational and temperate. They are in touch with their passions without being ruled by them. Being selfish seems unseemly, crude, irrelevant  and undesirable for them, so they will strive to get what is theirs without being selfish, and without savaging peers to get ahead.

Psychological Egoism

Psychological egoism is the doctrine that we are motivated by self-interest. I disagree that we are motivated by self-interest. Mostly, we hate ourselves and hurt others and ourselves because our motive is psychological altruism.

Maturing and individuating is learning to be motivated by enlightened self-interest and that is not easy to assume as a learned motive, but it can be done, and is well worth the effort.

Breitbart tonight quotes a Gallup poll that a majority of Democrats polled for the first time preferred socialism to capitalism.

That admission is staggering. How low we have sunk, and how far we have to go to MAGA.

Me First, Egoism

The egoist is usually intending to meet his own needs first, and that is his ethical duty. There are exceptions, but he should put the needs of God and the Good Spirits before his own in importance,

Superior Egoist

The egoist should be not utterly but mostly concerned with his own affairs.

If he feels superior to others, then he needs to renounce this way of thinking. First, all people are more or less created equal, within a rather narrow range of difference in ability.

Second, he must admit that God loves all people, and making them feel bad about themselves--regarded by rude him as inferior--is hurting their feelings, something that God would strongly condemn and disapprove of. Braggers are not welcome in heaven.

Third, his competing with and orientation is not out there against others, a social arrangement. His competing and orientation is against his self that lived yesterday, less developed, less artistic, less talented. It is against that younger self that he is to feel superior to, if he has done his homework, and continued improving as a person.

Egotism

The Egotist is actually a collectivist for two reasons.

 First, he is convinced that he is superior to others, and feels that they should realize that fact. He actually is only their equal, and his shallow, small-minded thinking is exposed by his comparing himself against all others, he reveals his herd mentality. He is endlessly obsessed with his ranking  in comparison and contrast to others. The self-assured egoist is mostly absorbed in pursuing and fulfilling his own interest. He is indifferent to such irrelevant time-wasters as ranking himself against others, a social construct. His enjoyment of his individualism is so deep and secure  that  how he stacks up against others is completely beside the point, an immaterial distraction.

Second,  his rude insulting behavior is validated by having an audience to direct it to. This enterprise is a social endeavor, against revealing that he is an collectivist, not an egoist.

Egotism As An Exagerrated Sense Of Self-Importance

Egotism is defined as an excessive sense of self-importance. If he talks too much about himself and not at all about the interests, personage  and needs of his audience, he may be narcissistic, selfish and undiplomatic.

None of these latter three traits are admired under Mavellonialism as appropriate behavior or appropriate social stances coming from an ethical, individuating egoist.

Egotism

Egotistical is not the same as egoistical, and I am all for the latter, and not at all for the former.   When one is egoistical, struts around bragging, competing and playing one-upmanship with others, one is sending the message that one is superior, and that hurts people's feelings. It makes them angry and resentful.  Now the braggart has made enemies. It is the wrong thing to do, and it is a good way to be hated, and good-haters like to fight one.

An egoist could have an inflated send of his own value and worth, and arrogantly demonstrate this overrated self-appraisal to the world. Such offensive behavior has no connection to the brand of egotism espoused under Mavellonialism.

My egoists are  primarily and foremostly motivated and seeking their own enlightened self-interest, and secondarily  and  as a necessary afterthought, to seek to behave and act in ways compatible with realizing the genderal good.

I advocate good manners and courtesy at home, at work, on the street. One should treat the self and all others with dignity, politeness and respect. That is one's duty, period. A well-behaved individuator pleases the Good Spirits for that is how they conduct themselves, and the egoistic individuator is their protege.

Capital Punishment

I realize that vicious criminals often deserve the death penalty, but the state should not be putting people to death, o r very rarely. I have never like capital punishment. We do not want the State to be taking human life. Too many autocrats, too often in human history, have gotten a taste for it. In Britain, not too long ago, a hungry, poor man could be executed for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family.

Toxic Masculinity

Some consider masculinity to be toxic. See the great Prager video on this subject.

My take on it is men are made in the image of God the Father, so if men are innately toxic, the God the Father is innately toxic/

God the Father is masculine but sensitive, brave but not foolhardy, strong but protective, loving but not weak, assertive but not aggressive, able to handle Deself, but never a bully.

Their Nature

The trick to helping each young person  to  actualize her marvelous potentiality is to provide structure, love, discipline,  guidance and direction without seeking to snuff out her natural bents. If parents, teachers,  pastors and police officers bring up a child to  be a good, inudstrious, ambitious and pious youngster, and then begin pulling back to allow her to do her own thing, doing what is natural for her, however repugnant that bent may seem to us (For example, her parents are wealthy wine merchants, and she wants to be a sailor for life in the merchant marines.), we have gotten out of the way so she can be her natural self, developing her individualism, perhaps even maverizing.

Absoluteness

There be absolute right and wrong and eternal laws that govern us  but more likely they are mostly absolute and a bit relativistic. Then you add to this the subject, limited nature of human perception and understanding, and thus arriving at the absolute truth is well nigh impossible. If you add to it that the person is a group-liver where lying and mass deception and self-deception are popular, established customs, the arriving at the gist of absolute truth is impossible.

Our salvation is discovered in our love of realism, of logic   and act in light of answers yielded from God's truth.

This is not absolute truth, and absolute certainty but it will suffice.

Marching Orders

As living angels, and budding members of the Good Spirits, we take our marching orders from them. We may not quite figure out why we do as ordered, or where is leading to, or will all end up at, but we take orders, and do what told to do regardless to advance the cause of the Mother and Father.

Strong National Defense

It is true that if we do not have a powerful military, we will cease to exist as a nation. We must be strong and be the legitimate defender of the free world, without becoming militaristic or imperialistic or wasting our blood and treasure on pointless, debilitating wars.

Sentimental

Prager points out that if it feels good, the Left is for it and are satisfied by it, and feel that their job is completed.

Prager admonishes them  that policies that feel good often do not work and do not do goodv(especially if run and mishandled by the government). He warns them that the truth and facts do not care how we feel. We need to be realistic and logical, living in reality, to figure out how to do and implement good in the objective world out there.

I love Prager: he is the Wise One.

Prager The Moderate

The moderate, wise Prager points out that Liberals need to understand that their enemy is not conservatives  but the Left. By extension, I would add that conservatives need to understand that their enemies are not Liberals, but the Left and the extreme, totalitarian Right.

Inhuman

It would be a bald-faced lie to liken an active, open individuator to  being a cold, inhuman monster without social  skills, without feeling or empathy, without social instinct.

None of that is so. As an active individutor, I am not cold, inhuman, without empathy, without social skills or social instinct. I feel a lot and enjoy interacting with people on my term of indiviudal-living while going in and out of the herd when,  where and why I want to without scolded, reprimanded or  receiving social pushback.

As soon as group-livers learn to play and work nice with individual-livers, most of these demeaning  labels will disappear.

Do What Is Right

Do what is right, whether it makes you like or not.  Be yourself and allow the world to respond as it will.

Donald, I do not want you to hate the press, nor strive to be dictator without  critical press. And,  no, the Press is the the enemy of the people. We need a free and uncensored press.

Now the fake news, the lies spewed out about Trump, by the Leftist Press, are the enemies of the people.  We Conservatives, intellectuals and members of Congress must fight back hard but fair and truthful against the fake new and the lying hostile mainstream press.  We have to fight alongside Donald to put him and the American Left on notice that he is our President, and that he is not alone in this batter for an honest narrative about American news and American politics.

But, we never use government to shut down unfriendly press, be their truthful  and fair, or mendacious and  unfair.

The Universe

Does the universe have a soul, or souls, and is it spiritually alive? I think that it is, and that biological life and material bodies that populate this universe are guided by natural law, as well as principled intelligence and the will of the souls at work in the universe.  Of course the spiritual collection of souls  required a creator and ruler to guide an inspire them.

Going Away

 Laura Ingraham has a piece out about how the America that we know and love does not exist anymore in many areas of the country. She is spot on.

It might already be too late, but we traditionalists are trying to restore America and MAGA.

Laura continued: "It’s what was once a common understanding by both parties that American citizenship is a privilege, and one that at a minimum requires respect for the rule of law and loyalty to our constitution,” she concluded."

We do not have a country or the rule of law unless we have borders and controlled immigration. We cannot be ruled by the Courts, an Imperial President and the Administrative State without shredding what is left of our Constitution.

American citizenship is a privilege and we must remind people of that once more.




  

Knowledge Is Power

This motto is spot on. The more you know, and the more skilled you are at many things, the more powerful, the more influential and more significant you grow as a person.

Let us consider a new twist: suppose you maverize. As you individuate and become an artistic, brilliant, original thinker and creator at the thing that you do, you will be making original, new contributions intellectually and otherwise to human civilization. That makes you uniquely powerful and influential. Go for it, and make a huge difference.

Your Nook

You have to abandon your safe zone, your nook, and get out into the world and live. Do it. You will not regret it and you will never be such a small and narrow person again.

Classical Egoism

Classical egoism occurs when the indivdual does and should pursue his own pleasure. As utilitarians we live ad act i such ways as benefit and creates the greatest good for the greatest number. Their pleasure is what we seek to extend and sustain.

I am more stoical and puritanical so I am for the individual not pursing pleasure (which often is pain) so much as doing his duty (which may seem dull and painful, but only it will make him happy, or give him actual pleasure).

Our Natures

We are born depraved, and that means we are selfless, join and despise the self. Other-interest is what makes us tick. Being altruist makes us selfish, passionate, emotional beasts.

Still, there is natural, weak but natural goodness in us. We can become individualistic, individual-live, inidivudate and love the self. Once the self is loved by the self, one has become wholesome, virtuous and loving. This is how one comes to love all others. The good individual is a child of the Mother. She can count on him to stand by her, defend her interests and remain loyal and steadfast.

Being egoistic makes us enlightened in our self-interest, yet generous, rational, logical and angelic.

Still moderation dictates that as we develop the angel in ourselves, we nourish the beast too because so much of our nature is pure animal, right out of nature.

We are born depraved, which indicages that we are altruistic more than individualistic, or altuist/egoist.

As we grow as moral creatures, we have learned to control and discipline ourselves so that we become civilized/natural and artificial/spontaneous  creatures that are now good and good most of the time as egoist/altruists are.

Levin

He warns us repeatedly that the Statists believe that the government is equivalent to being America, and that being a Democratic-Socialist is equivalent to being an ideal citizen.

America is not the government, and Democratic-Socialism is an ideology breeding the destruction of America, so loathed by its followers.

Your Natural Rights

In Liberty and Tyranny (Page 12) Levin points out that natural rights are God-given, and the state can neither confer them upon the individual or deny them.

As a supercitizen and individuating-anarchist you will clad yourself in your natural rights, and in your connection to the Good Spirits that administrate their fulfillment on a human level.

The state is to be kept small, federal and powerful, but to protect these rights, not usurp them.

Selfishness Is Unworkable

You do not want to be selfish. It corrodes the actor and the target. If you are kind to others, that is really in your best interest to so act. You cannot love yourself, if you do not act lovingly, and you do not act lovingly towards anyone, when you areselfish and unkind.

Ugly behavior makes you feel ugly and become morally and spiritually ugly, and that is when evil creeps into your heart and soul. Be gentle and courteous to all, starting with yourself. When do do good, you feel good. When you feel good, you become better. When becoming better becomes newly formed good habits of behavior, you, with prayer and the invitation from the Good Spirits, are on the road of spiritual discovery, to live the rest of your life as a living angel, among the children of light on earth.

The Stem

The ancestral stock from which you did spring from is of vital importance. It is what you are, and does steer and limit your destiny in some ways.

What you are and where your roots go to do matter. Of high and much more significance is what you are going to do about it all. If you take what you are and maverize with it, that is a noble and worth life well-lived.

Individuate On

Get it going on, and your afterlife station may be an elevated one along the ladder of heaven, that Great Chain of Being.

Who knows that one cannot rise (get better) or fall (get worse or more sinful) after death?

All Mixed Together

This is moderate ontology: all things are mixed together in varying degrees of percentages of each thing or being. The constituents comprising this being or thing are part material and part immaterial, to varying degrees.

Dear God, please rise up and rally your forces, your followers, to reclaim and retake earth as your realm, as a this-worldly extension of heaven: "Arise, O God; defend your cause; remember how the fool blasphemes you day after day. Depraved

We are wicked from birth. We hate the self and hate others, and do  unhappy, nasty things because of this. Our passionate, emotional natures makes us personally selfish, and altuistic in group-shaming others to stay living as nonindividuators.

We need to work hard and be instructed by God, the Good Spirits, parents and society to develop and strengthen the recessive weaker part of our nature that is good. Thus by individuating, enlightened self-interest, by self-sacrifice and by loving God, the self and others, the individual becomes a more or less virtuous person that is good to himself and to others, and is good for himself and others, and that is good for society as a whole.

The bedeviled, hounded children of light seek relief from persecution and slights from the wicked of their generation. They look to God to make it right: "How long, O God, shall the foe blaspheme? Shall the enemy revile your name forever? Why draw back your hand and keep your right hand idle beneath your cloak?"

Evangelicals

These conservative Christians advise us to confess our sins to Christ and to ask for be saved. Not a bad way to approach the Divinity: apologize for sins committed, and ask God's blessing and presence in your heart and soul, so that you will one day be heaven-bound.

Corrupt And Lawless

Judicial Watch writes to me that the Deep State is corrupt and lawless. We need to make transparent what these traitors have  been up to, send those to jail that deserve, and fire the rest.

He was shut down today by Facebook, Apple and Google, and they accuse him of hate speech. We need no social media giant shutting down any conservative thinker. We need free speech and no censorship. This is very alarming, and the Internet needs no government regulation.

Organic Organism

Is the universe an organic living whole? Yes, at least in the sense that a sparkle of spirituality or soul is in all material or biological entities. Is this one universal whole spirit? The latter I do not think is the case, but moderation suggests to me that some of the material is in everything spiritual, ad some of the spiritual is in everything material.

Cool It

Do not be worked up all the time. Cool your mouth down. Quit hurling invective at everyone and everything that annoys you. If you have nothing good to say, maybe not talk so much. Angry, aggrieved, ungrateful, offended, bitter at the "unjust world"--enough already; quit fuliminating.

Some Holy Man

At a mosque somewhere in Canada, the mullah prayed to Allah in front of his assembly, praying at unbelievers will be killed one at a time.

I wish Allah would send down a bolt of lightning and fry this creep right when he spouts such filth. I am a holy man, and I have real feet of clay, but none, of us, none of us, have the moral right to pray that unbelievers, or differing believers are killed one by one, praying to God to see it done.

The radicalized young men in that assembly can now go out and kill in Allah's name, because their priest blessed their murder.

Any good deity is a deity of peace and love. She will kill and order her followers to kill in a just war, but never would she support or condone killing good people worshiping a good but different deity. We are all on the same team.

Prager asserts that doing evil in God's name is the unforgivable sin. I do not know if that is so, but it is certainly a serious cardinal or mortal sin with real hellfire possibilities about it.

Representative Diane Black, Republican, wants to make it a felony to cross illegally into United States. No, we do not need to be that punitive, creating a new class of nonviolent felons. Rather, get the wall built, close the border, eliminate illegal immigration, severely limit legal immigration, deport those that are here illegally, and that is severe enough.

Pull Back

We all need to pull back from the brink of civil war, culturally or when Americans actually take up arms against each other. There is no middle ground, and civility and mutual respect and tolerance are withering away.

We on the right must not turn violent against our brothers and sisters that are indifferent, liberal, Leftist or independent. We must agree to disagree and not take up arms against those that fiercely disagree with us politically and ideologically.

Where we can compromise, fine. With those we can still be friends with while disagreeing, fine. But we don't want a second Civil War in America. I hope it does not come about, and may we conservatives and Tea Partyers not initiate it or fan the flames of isolated conflagrations where they flare up. Civilized behavior and the rule of law must prevail, or America will die, and evil and dictatorship will rise up out of a senseless Civil War.

Insulting Behavior

If you have to say something negative to or about another person, attack the behavior, not the person.  Insulting them only clouds the issues, makes a fight possible, hardens their resolves, and makes things worse.

Also, by insulting others you make yourself look small, mean and unworthy to be taken seriously.                                                     

Demonstrators

Hard Core Leftist demonstrators were protesting outside of NRA headquarters recently. They want to confiscate all guns and repeal the 2A because no civilian should have a gun.

Keep Learning

Somewhere I was given a one day seminar advertisement on how to manage conflict and confrontation. It was about how to manage conflict and confrontation. These techniques work and are critically valuable to getting along. Whether one is an egoist or an altruist, or an egoist-altruist as I the moderate am, living in accordance with the Golden Rule demands that conflict resolution is a skill we all need to know and apply.

As a rule, as a gun-lover and gun-carrier, we are being trained that it is very important to know and employ deescalation techniques whenever needed. We, as sacred humanists, prefer peace to war, and as peacemakers, if we can avoid fighting with family, neighbors, other countries, great.

If we must confront, we must be diplomatic, tactful, calm and criticize the behavior, not the person.
We must meet aggressors head on with calm assertiveness to not be pushed around.

If confrontation is going to escalate into conflict and violence, try to leave or call the police, or call the attacker down. If none of these work, be resolved that no one has a right to beat on you, women, children or dogs, and use the degree of force necessary to stop the aggressor decisively. If you can do this without taking his life, that is desirable. If not, let USCCA take over when the police arrive.

Roseanne Barr

She is quoted on the Internet that women can have power if they just reach out and take it. It is true, and it is sound advice.

I would go a couple of steps farther. Among our unalienable rights, are the freedom and innate power to individuate and actualize our potential. Women are so empowered, like all humans. They are born powerful or potentially powerful, and all they need to do is to put it into effect.

Sarah Jeong

Look how the Left protects and defiantly defends racist Sarah Jeong. She should be immediately fired from the New York Times Editorial Board like racist Roseanne Barr was fired from her TV show.

Another pure example of Progressive hypocrisy, double standards and willingness to treat people unequally before the law, depending on the white color of their skin and their conservative philosophies.

These people are evil and totalitarian. They hate whites and will one day pull a South Africa with pogroms and genocide against whites being morally and legally justified as justice delayed.

Anyone white, decent or conservative in America should get organized, united, armed to the teeth and fight these bastards every inch of they way. They are pure enemies. They are coming for us, and they will inflict maximum damage upon us. They will give us no quarter, and as haters, they are thorough and dedicated to their vicious bigotry in action.

Another Formulation

Another formulation of the Golden Rule goes like this: Negatively stated: you have no right to bother anyone else, because you have no right to bother yourself.

Positively stated: You must be kind to yourself as you are to be kind to others.

Racist

It is often denied that non-whites can be racist because one can only  be a racist is one is in a position of power.  That is false and an excuse for the racism of non-white racism. I have long advocated that all are born evil, and so all are racist and haters. Anyone, even slightly different is a stranger, an enemy, inferior and subhuman. Being subhuman and devilish it is permitted to do whatever immoral, cruel barbaric thing to them that one could not do to one's social peers, insiders, that one is not prejudiced against.

Let me address the claim that only one in a position of power can be a racist. There are whites and loners that are powerful and racist. The vast majority of racists and haters are group-livers and belong to every racial and ethnic group imaginable.

The people that nonindividuate and run in collectivist packs are especially racist because theirs is the power of powerfless, the mob loathing of those that are different.

Moderation And Egoism

I would like to openly identify the link between moderate living (the moral ideal) and egoist virtue. If the individual pursues his self-interest while loving liberty, he will treat others with equality and respect, doing nothing to rob them of their independence, their wealth, their life, their safety, or their happpiness and status as individualists doing their own thing. They will reciprocate this treatment back to him.

They will agree to a social contract where in moral order, law and order, good manners and civilized coexistence are for the common good, and it is the general will that each does his own thing while compromising with others around him pursuing their private interests. Inevitable conflicts will arise but negotiating directly with each other in good faith, and indirectly through the courts should render most impasses resolvable.

The selfless are more emotional than rational. They sentimentality makes them extreme. They subordinate their needs and priorities unreasonably to the collective will. When they are selfish in their private lives, it is inordinate because their extreme self-denial in the collective, makes their overreact and behave with irrational selfishness in their private dealings with others.

The egoist that adopts being reasonable, flexible, fair and moderate, in his enlightened self-interests, in a mood of temperate reasoning, should work to gain his self-interest without depriving others competing with him to fulfill their needs and to meet their self-interest. They should be able to meet their mutual needs, and their own needs, while working out deals that keep society civil and sere the common good. The reasonable egoist will working mostly to secure his own interest, but he will not deny the efficacy and need to meet the common interest too.

There are some limits on his pursuit of self-interest to prevent him being selfish. And the primary political, constitutional, social, economic and moral emphases on his self-interest is to keep all citizens and him from surrendering to corrupting, overrepresented collective needs.

Words Matter

The Left have shanghaied the language and they have told the big lies so long, that their words, their accusations and their labels are accepted as true and obvious, even by conservatives, that should know better.

Altruists argue that human pride and selfishness are the embodiments of moral and spiritual evil, and  even Rand succumbs to their verbal tyranny. Look at her book, The Virtues of Selfishness. She uses their word selfishness, but defines it as a virtue, not a vice. As a fellow egoist, I would substitute the word selfishness with self-interest or enlightened self-interest.

Bernard Mandvilles critics accused him of supporting vices (selfish or personal intests) and amorality, and e seemed to have ceded the point to them. I suggest that he should argue that he supported egoist virtue at the expense of altruist vice.
Mandeville really was for capitalism and the pursuit of self-interest, bot of which ina fre-wheeling society leds to detectable vices, but also liberty, prosperity and happiness, and these satisfied feelings among the masses well serves the public good, and that is a most desirable ethical end.

By not naming altruism and group-living openly, clearly and directly as the primary strongholds of demonic evil on earth, altruism remains the ethical norm of most humans, whether or not they are hypocrites, or living up to their ideal.

The 5th Book

I am just beginning my 5th book, Egoism Going Forward.  It will take me a couple of years to write. I am not much of a scholar but am digging deeper and wider. The core of the book will have two intertwining aspects, a critical interpretation of Ayn Rand's The Virtue of Selfishness and a more complete, coherent statement of my own ethical system, Mavellonialist Egoism. It is a book that needs writing.

The Newest Civil Society

It does not yet exist, but it is coming. Imagine a constitutional republic of Mavellonialist supercitizens, individuating anarchists, running their cantons, running with their states, and their thin but powerful federal, governmental overlay.

In this  non-Utopian, but great place to live, tyranny will be maximized and liberty will be maximized while law and order and social harmony are maintained.

Clever

You need to control the languages and ideas being circulated if you wish control the narrative circulating among the public. If you can control the narrative, you can sway public opinion to your side, and then you can get the public policies, that you favor, implemented. This has been the brilliant campaign conducted by the Left.


Now the Right needs to beat them at their own game.

Celebrate God's Goodness

Celebrate God's goodness in song, words and praise. But you need to go further: transform yourself with bright intellect, abundant love and personal development. When your life, your living prayer is what you are and what you give back to the world, you personally celebrate God's goodness by your public statements and by your personal acting.

Run

If you know that people run in packs and show contempt for individuators, flee from their presence lickety-split. Better alone, free and growing that enslaved, lazy, popular and unaccomplished.

Self-Realizing

You are not developing yourself to become perfect. You are self-perfecting and the journey is the goal, not the end that is impossible to reach.

Afraid Of Liberty

If you are afraid of liberty, you are afraid of life, a nonindividuator not that much in touch with God. Get over your fear, and go do what you were born to go.

Sam

Sam, our beloved Sheltie, passed away this morning at 8am. We will have him cremated and then bury his ashes up at our lake place.

This 19 pound bundle of energy created so much comfort, sanity, love and sense of family for our family.

We miss him. We mourn him. We would like to meet people with his integrity, his loyalty, his cheer, his intelligence, his boundless love.

Losing Faith

I have never gotten along with people, and I never have been able to fit in anywhere. As I age, I realize what the world thinks of me does not matter that much. One's God-given assignment and calling is to do what one is meant to do with all of one's heart and all of one's soul, whether the world approves or not.

That stance assumed, there is also a need to recognize that people are not born good, are weak, selfish, cynical, afraid, confused and short-sighted. Still, if they knew the score, they, many--maybe most of them--would rise to the occasion and begin to consign their lives and destinies to God.

One must be patient and forgive. People will come around eventually once the truth is widely known and accepted. One must not lose faith in humanity. Sooner or later our brothers and sisters will wake up and do the right thing.
