The life of each human is short, brief and ends in death. That is certainty for you. Keep awareness of that impending personal doom always lurking in the back of your mind.
It should prompt two reactions in you.
First, knowing your time is short, are you maverizing to be all that you can be in the few years that are yours to enjoy, so that the Father and Mother will be pleased about the moral, brilliant, loving and faithful life that you have led? You entrance into heaven is contingent upon Des’ being pleased with your previous efforts.
Second, realize that you could die 80 years from now or in ten minutes. No one knows but God, but this constant possible end should behoove you to lead a pious, loving, moral life at all times, so that if called, you will be able to go through Purgatory rather quickly and then advance to heaven itself.
