We are weak and fragile. We get tired. We often quit and walk away. It is not enough to mean well and do well and start living a virtuous and righteous life, one that the Good Spirits would smile upon.
When we encounter serious, punitive, and even vicious reaction from the children of darkness, we must not quail. We must not conclude that good intentions and half-baked effort is achieving our moral victory.
It is not: we must rise up, work through and surmount our fear and despair. We must fight on until we are here no more; we must fight the good fight, and see it through, no matter the cost or worldly punishment heaped upon us for doing what is right.
