Discriminating

 

Unless someone is made of morally warped wood, most people would assume that discriminating against others due to their intersectional belongings or against them as individuals (I long argued that groupists legally discriminate against genuine loners all the time, in many ways and it is religiously, legally, and socially sanctioned, normalized, and even praised.).

 

Here is the ideal: To take the impartial high road and treat all people the same, with dignity, respect and fairness. This lofty ideal is often disregarded. Why is this?

 

People are born sinners: in their thinking and feeling, they instinctively are prone to over-reward and over-evaluate the members of groups they belong to, and over-punish and under-evaluate outgroups and individual (no strong group affiliations) outsiders. To be prepossessed against outliers is natural and predictable, but it is not just.

 

America, with its recent history of passing Civil Rights legislation, alongside its history of individualism, freedom, individualism and rationalism, is a place where people are treated generally pretty well, as institutionalized discriminating is rare and not systematic.

 

Where Europeans 100 years ago or so were actively and openly racist against people of color, Asians and Indians,  that kind of ontological, ethical, social and legal discriminating was done by whites at a time when this most individualistic of all the races (probably more individualistic genetically and as the result of cultural custom), were still very group-oriented and altruistic in their ethics (Kind to insiders, not kind to outsiders.).

 

The whites at that time –be they the ruling elite, the masses, the farmers—were about 94% joiners, living group-lived lives of non-individuation. My thesis is that discriminating is natural to all of us, but it turns vicious and cruel, ugly, deliberate, and systematic when all are joinrs living with group ethics, one tribe versus the competing, conflicting tribe or tribe.

 

To eliminate hate and discriminating or greatly reduce it adopt egoist ethics, and encourage people to know God, individual-live and self-realize.

 

We need to teach the young that discriminating against egoists, individualists, maverizers and loners must stop wholly, and all must confess they are born evil and actively consciously explicitly, and instinctively, implicitly, and subconsciously discriminate against loners and mavericks.

 

Where those few individuals are criminals or selfish robbers and outlaws, society should

 go ahead and shun and arrest and punish them, but leave all others maverizers and loners alone.

 

The only members of our society that deserve reparations for past discrimination against them are loners and maverizers but maverizers do not want reparations—though they deserve them—or quotas to get them hired—with their industrious and rationality they can make it on their own.

 

Loners and maverizers should have protected class status just to keep active legal discriminating against them from occurring anymore, and that will lead to historical improvements of their lot ending unfair and unequal treatment of loners and maverizers.
