The Atlas Society sends me free emails, and, at the end of their email, they quote famous, or wise people.
This 10/24/24 email quoted Elon Musk: “The duty of a leader is to serve their people, not for the people to serve them.”
I agree: To serve her people is a legitimate leader’s duty and that is much more likely to occur in a free society, than in a tyrannical regime. In the tyrannical regime it is pretty well baked in that the leader takes, that the people give, that the people serve the leader, not the other way around.
I revert to my mantra that the people are in charge if they want to be, and they, as individuating supercitizens, are unbeatable by leaders and elites of any stripe, so the liberated masses will not only order their leaders to serve the people or be fired, but the politically hyper-involved (being hyper-involved is their political and moral duty) supercitizens run the country all the time: they do not wait around to see if their leaders are willing to serve them or not. They just order their leaders to serve them or be fired, and that is how it will be when the free masses are supercitizens who tolerate no nonsense or betrayal from their leaders.
