I will quote a paragraph from my 2010 book, Notes Towards A New Age, in which I refer to why students fail in school, and, better articulated now than then, it my belief that all humans can and must self-realize, that high-end individualism and rich talents are possessed and are to be expressed by all, that self-realizing should be the primary educational goal for each student, and that is the best way to foster and reward achievement and academic success for most students.
The paragraph below shows that I felt that the average can achieve excellence in many areas, so, therefore they should self-realize too, not just the brightest and most gifted.
Here is my entry from Page 61: “So self-destructing makes them feel consistent with their low self-imaging, Anyone, with even a minimal level of intelligence can, with hard work, instruction, and self-confidence, perform among the soarers. It might take some longer to get there than others, but there is no reason for enmasse failure to achieve.”
No one has a corner on beauty, truth, originality, or brilliance, so all should individuate.
