The Real Truth

Tonight, 8/26/25, I saw a meme on the Internet which I will quote and which I found powerful and worth worrying about.

This message was from the Haus of God: I will copy it out and then comment on it. Here it is:

Haus: “One is popular. The other is biblical. Choose wisely.”

My response: The author is warning the reader that modern day, cafeteria Christians, may have watered down how exacting biblical Jesus is versus the popular Jesus, watered down by cafeteria Christians who may burn in hell for their willful blindness and choosing to ignore biblical Jesus, and refusing to take him seriously, so let us look together at what is claimed about the biblical Jesus versus popular Jesus.

Haus: “

Modern Jesus                                                             Biblical Jesus

Preaches only on love                                                 Preaches God’s righteousness

Gives you health and wealth                                      Gives salvation, hope, peace and joy

Never says anything negative                                     Warns of sin, judgement and hell

Love and accepted by the world                                Hated and despised by the world

Serves your will, not God’s will                                   Exalts God the Father’s will

Hates to offend you or others                                    Offends the world with the truth

.”

My response: Modern Jesus preaches about love, but other things too. Jesus may give you health and wealth—or not. Jesus loves and speaks the truth, saying what it is, be it negative or positive in conflicting with or reinforcing your worldly reputation.

Jesus was murdered by humans, crucified on the cross, so He definitely was not loved nor accepted by the world.

Jesus serves not human will, but the will of His Father in heaven.

It is not that Jesus hates to offend us, or that He seeks to offend us; rather we might take offense and perhaps should since our feelings are hurt or we may have been socially embarrassed by His stinging criticisms, mentioned by Him about us out of loving concern, and a love of liberating truth, not lying to us to avoid hurting our feelings.

My response: Jesus preaches God righteousness, and His love of administered justice and our need for tough love, in order that we may repent and heal.

Jesus offers us salvation.

Jesus warns us of sin, judgement, and hell, that we may not burn.

The world rejected Jesus and still does. Side with Jesus and not the world.

Jesus serves His Father’s will, and we would be well advised to serve the will of the Father and the Mother first and foremost.

Jesus does offend the world by speaking truth, and that is as it should be. Only the truth will set us free.
