Just Return To North Dakota

A conservative relative largely sympathetic with my political outlook can't believe that we continue to live in liberal Minnesota, the land of 10,000 taxes.

First of all, my wife likes it here. That is reason enough, for if Mama ain't happy, no one is happy.

Second, our kids like it here, and do not want to live anyplace else.

Third, we have deep roots here, with some fine recreational properties up north. We built the one up from scratch, and almost have it paid off, so why not enjoy it in our retirement years?

Fourth, the early Christian generals, like Saul, dispatched missionaries to convert pagans around the Roman Empire.

Analogously, why could I not send some Mavellonialist missionaries out to Devils Lake to convert those that are 30% Mavellonialist already, and will not be too hard to convert in the future by imported missionaries, or by home-grown, auto-converts?

Here, the need is huge. The blue state liberalism runs very deep in the thinking of the Germans, the Scandinavians, the British Islers, the blacks, the Indians, the Hispanics and the Asians.

Here I will stay. Here I will make my stand. We will take back Illinois, Minnesota, California and Seattle.

God, time, history, truth and the American Way are on our side. We will triumph. We can be thwarted, but we will not be denied by the liberal unbelievers for long.
