North Dakota School Bill

The House out there passed a conceal-carry law for school teachers in school, etc. Great idea.

Here is what I wrote on Facebook about it: 

As a former North Dakotan and a gun rights activist, it would be safer for the school system, its teachers, employees and students to have armed staff on duty all the time at each school.

• When the good people are disarmed, the bad people commit violent acts unopposed. Should schools not want the public to enter the school armed openly or concealed, okay, but certain, vetted staff members should carry, and be encouraged to carry. This sends a message to the bad guys that their violence will be curbed and shut down immediately.
