I do not often have the time to watch Prager's 30 minute fireside chats, so I looked at his short paragraph on the one he showed tonight (1/30/2020), and he  regretted that young people in America have been taught to feel unlucky and oppressed, neither of which are true. Here in free America, people are not oppressed and are blessed to live here in the midst of great wealth, freedom, goodness, hope and opportunity.

Prager admonishes that they should remember to fee grateful and optimistic that they can overcome most any difficulty that they encounter here. Once again the wise Prager hits a home run.

Individuating And Loving

When you do God's will, and individuate and love, then you will be free and a positive, creative personality and force at work in the universe. You will feel happy and useful, as you know in your soul that you are making a difference, and are fighting the good fight.

The Divide

Yes, other conservative writers have pointed out that gun rights rallies  reveal how urban-driven gun control is restricting rural people's enjoyment of their 2A rights. When the rural people, with their, conservative, traditional, gun-toting values, are overruled by urbanites, often the majority in their states, gun rights are infringed. What we must do is shore up our support in rural areas, while reaching out to urban conservatives, independents and surburbanites to persuade them to again return to and see the value of our conservative culture and political values.

Does Satan Exist?

Yes, Satan does exist. Satan is destruction for its own sake, and is not just the absence of good, of Godliness and love.

Yes, it does, and it is altruism, cruelty, hatred, violence, excessive power-craving and malice and envy.

The Pressure Is Working

So Gazelka is coming out in advance of the 2020 legislative session and promising to pass no gun control bills. That is great news. Rights

If you favor group rights over individual rights, you are a Leftist for sure. If you favor individual rights over group rights, but still want the common good preserved, you are a Mavellonialist.

Civil Society

Civil society is often defined at that third portion of society. The first portion is the government. The next portion is the free market economy. The civil society is the remainder of societal structures and associations. Movements and activities therein may involve the family, the church, fraternal associations voluntary participation private interests, etc.

My interest in the civil society grow out of my readings of Mark Levin's frequent and ubiquitous reference to maintaining and preserving established, traditional civil society as a cultural and political goal of the first order. I have not found his definition of civil society, so I offer my own below.

In this context, the civil society seems to be a spontaneous order (referring not to the economy but to the American heritage of free individuals cooperating and working together to reach social ends, working together in peace and harmony), an existent but flexible, changing pattern of cultural structure used by and appreciated by the majority of citizens in a community, a complex, communal arrangement of social functioning, activities and voluntary associating that is necessary and critical for the survival of our constitutional republic. The people must work together, while living as staunch individualists in that community. Their peaceful, lawful, virtuous, voluntary cooperation in this private sphere is a vital complement to the existence and health of the other functioning portions of the society, the government and the free market economy.

Friedrich Hayek

Hayek is credited as the brilliant economist and thinker that introduced to us the concept of spontaneous order. Whether he invented the term or just coined it to identify the spontaneous order that had automatically arisen out of millions of people trading goods and services in a free market economy or not, he certainly described and defined what is was and how it works.

I love the concept that I admittedly do not know much about. A new generation is arising that will be very techno-savvy in a world of intelligent computers and actually smart robots, fellow beings on this planet. For them to prosper as a free people, living in peace and harmony with each other, they require a self-regulating society of individuator anarchist supercitizens to run their own affairs, with but a thin but strong structure of government, local, state and federal, to serve to keep all in working order. This spontaneous order will arise, and the government must stay small and unintrusive for it to function well.

The Old Liberalism

I am near to being a fanatic about granting the individuating/anarchist supercitizen about as much liberty as he can handle or is legally and constitutionally entitled too. With all this granted authority, power and freedom of course must come a personal sense of responsibility and kindness to protect and respect the same liberty and self-empowerment for each neighbor, with the mutually agreed-upon understanding that disputes that arise will be settled fairly and to the mutual satisfaction of each party to the conflict through negotiation and compromise.

We need to return to the 19th century, to strong support for private property, a real free market economy, an original interpetation of the Constitution so that we can right-size our bloated government to no longer interfere in private lives of the citizens.

The new liberalism is socialism with its social justice meddling in the private economy, in private lives and with its micromanaging the world of enterprise.

I believe that we know this and act as if it is so, even if it were not so, or because we cannot demonstrate a priori or by experiment that it is so. The natural law governs both the world of spirit and the world of the flesh.

Jordan Peterson Again

There is a new January, 2020 Prager U video out, about Jordan Peterson (Jordan Peterson Educates Climate Activist); the video is about 8 minutes long, and is narrated by Dennis in person.

This video is a model of Prager clarity, and is a nice short summary of the differences between the values of the Left and the Right.

Peterson is apparently sitting on stage with other panel members somewhere in England or a Commonwealth country, when a young, self-righteous woman of some college education, went Socialist on him and ridiculed Jordan's general advice that  individual solutions to fixing societal problems is generally the way to proceed. She demands immediate, involuntary, even totalitarian governmental action running and ruling peoples' live to force them to accept drastic, New Green Deal kinds of efforts to save the planet right now before it is too late.

Peterson schools her that though there can be a place for collective responsibility and united attempts to solve society's problems, but, generally, people must be more competent and powerful in their careeers, and then they are more able to be effective in the political arena as leaders.

He warns that people unfit in their own lives, that are a mess and not dealing with their own problems, feel paradoxically, supremely fit and able to join a political movement to inflict collective answers upon citizens by governmental forces, trampling liberty and individual rights in the process.

Peterson points out that people unwilling to solve their own problems, disguise this inadequacy by rushing to social activism, adopting a pseudomoralistic approach to society's problems "requiring fixing" by their interpretation, a pose to impress their friends and neighbors.

Prager then begins to narrate the video to expand on what Peterson said. He contrasts nicely how the Left and the Right differ in their approach to solving problems. The Right wants to improve society morally by improving the individual. The Left would solve all problems  by passing laws and federal means to bring about the completion ofsocial justice goals in America.

Prager agrees that collective solutions might be the only means of reform available to people in violent, evil societies like fascism, Communism or Islamic tyrannies. (Note from Ed: Notice that totalitarian states are groupist, wicked, extremist, absolutist, hierarchical with government running everything, and personal liberty, personal privacy, and free marketeering are extinct.).

By contrast, Prager offers free and decent countries like America as places where collective action is unnecessary, will not work and actually damages much more than it cures social problems. The Right wants us here to reform the self, and then millions of reformed selves indirectly will improve society.

That is too slow and too uncertain for the authoritarian Left. Morals are irrelevant but social justice causes like ending racism, classism, materialism, homophobia, Islamophobia, intolerance, capitalism and sexism must be addressed promptly for involuntary means, managed and supervised by Big Government. Prager notes that the Left is preoccupied with politics to improve society--activism is their favorite motto.

The Right, Dennis offers, promotes personal self-improvement as the way to bring about a better America (not much in need of changing and improving anyway, Ed says)--gradual change one person at a time.

My observation: note that gradual change, voluntarily accepted (or not), one person at a time, the individual's plan of self-reformation is very traditional Americanism--moderation, individual self-help and bootstrapping, personal liberty, and immense privacy and liberty wielded and owned by the private citizen, without much government intervention, hindrance or interference. This American Way is the foundation upon which I would build a Mavellonialist future on: moderate, individual-living, anarchist individuators and supercitizens, living their county-centered lives under their federal umbrella, the traditional American constitutional republic set up by the Founders.

Prager laments that such gentle improving, so glacially slow, freely elected and gradual is way too slow and inefficient for Leftist social activists. They seek revolutionary transformatin of America right now from the top down, run by federal and clerisy elites, using tyranny, reeducation camps and violence if necessary to effect total change immediately. The truth of the matter is that revolutionary change brought down on the heads of the masses almost never fundamentally changes anything. Real, deep, revolutionary change can only be produced by a personal change of heart, one person at a time. Anything else is just a coup det'at.

Dennis goes on to show that the American tradition emphasized character development so that our children through the vehicles of familial child-rearing and and education, did bring up children to be good persons and good citizens. He quotes Adams and Franklin pointing out that only a moral and religious people are capable of freedom.

Dennis regrets that the church, the family and the school no longer teach character development to children as social issues like climate change, identity politics, the LGBTQ gender agenda, etc., are inculcated into the minds of children all the way through college.

Prager warns that only a self-controlling people can handle freedom. A vicious, impious people will embrace disorder, bad anarchy, lawlessness and entropy, so then they trigger the arrival of an authoritarian government that will enforced social peace and control, but tyranny is installed as the law of the land, and liberty dies.

The ways recommended by the Right are all that will work, and the agenda of the Left will only convert America into Venezuela, which the Left is very self-pleased with and eager to bring about.

The Past Year Spent On Max Stirner

I spent the past year studying Max Stirner's hyperindividualism, his too individualistic philosophy of subjective individualism, and his extreme epistemological pessimism, his severe nominalism, and his radical rejection of reasoning and the comforting abstractions that we need to make sense of the world, to know how to live, to have a linguistic and ideational means of receiving instruction from God, to establish common ground for communicating and sharing values. His moral and rational nihilism either intentionally or unintentionally have fed the postmodernist madness that will destroy America, destroy Western civilization and end civilization.

My wife and I have two rescue dogs. These sweet, beautiful animals are so happy to have a home, to be loved, to be safe, fed, sheltered and to have a pack to belong too. Children similarly that grow up with no dad, no married parents, to moral training, no God in their lives--these children lead the broken lives of drug addiction, low achievement and juvenile delinquency.

The nightmare world that broken home children and street children reside in is remarkably similar to what rescue puppies. This world of madness, barbarism and where the naked law of the jungle rules--this is the world that Stirner suggests that we need or indeed to live in.

Our happy puppies prove that his assertion is way of base.

Non-Stirner Predication

My thorough-going individualism is near as radical as Stirner, but he is a subjective individualist while Rand and I land more on the side of being objective individualist. I am not opposed to individual self-referencing, but still the self is affiliated with what is lawful (governed by natural law and God's will for humans), logical and universal claims.

In fact, these objective referencing are where  the self, the singular, is the best representative or reification of those objective touchstones.

Stirner The Amoralist

Stirner does refute personal affiliation with or living in accordance with any ethical system. Based in this, some online label him an amoralist.

As an ardent normative egoist, I criticize him severely for his alleged amorality. One can assert that one is neither good or bad, but just indifferent to ethical labels. My assertion that amorality does not exist.

If one consciously and deliberately embraces wickedness and knows it and is proud of that choice, then one is wicked.

If one like Stirner, believes that the unique one transcend on ethical considerations, championing amorality, I respond that he is just practicing immorality, knowingly or not, whether blameworthy or not, of his own free will or not. For a wicked robot so programmed or genetically predisposed can do evil and be evil, withot being damnable for his choices and actions.

That he is immoral and to be opposed or destroyed, nonethless, is existentially real.

Either we are good and serve God as an altruist, or egoist, or we serve Satan as an altruist or egoist. Amoral stances to the contrary, the fence-straddler ends up serving Satan, as his amorality is finally disclosed as wickedness burning on a low burner.

Stirner And Alienation

It would seem that the predicate of alienation for Stirner applies to the  involuntary egoist that serves an abstraction or cause over and outside of himself, and that is an alienated person, separated from the pursuit of his ownness, doing his own thing as he sees fit.

Mysteriously Human

Humans' natures may be ultimately incomprehensible, but we can glimpse enough of it with our reason, our words, or intuition to live by a code of probable certainty.

Ethical Prescription And Stirner

Sorry, Max Stirner, ethical prescription is required near objective truth, the ought that we ought to take seriously and live by, given our sinful natures, and our propensity to worship and further the cause of the Dark Couple.

In The Front Trenches

Chris Dorr identified it: we need to defend our gun rights first in our efforts in legislative sessions and in the elections cycles to bring pain to each legislator to stop gun-grabbing and to push ahead gun rights. This leading war in the cultural war against the Left is the front lines, and if we win this effort, we save America. If gun lovers are taken down by the Progressives, all of America loses the cultural war to the Left.

It Is Good To Go To A One-Time Rally But . . .

Aaron Dorr is so correct. It is admirable to attend a rally at the last hour in Richmond against Northam and the gun grabbers, but grassroots lobbying, with all kinds pressure, messages, contacts, demands and intervention in getting out the vote, and by pushing weak lawmakers, and in the field pressure on politicians--that is how we aggressively demand our rights, and punish those that oppose us, and defy us, and betray us.

Fight Back, Gun Owners

We need to fight and fight hard to force politicians to back off our 2A freedoms.

The Populist

Am I a populist? Darned if I know, but I am for the common people running things, not elites. But it requires a virtuous, disciplined majority of citizens and voters that are aristocratic: statesman/supercitizens/individuator anarchists that run things, order their politicians around, reform and run things from the bottom up, and do gentle improvements within the status quo, a free market, canton/county centered constitutional republic.

Good Intelligence

Good intelligence is actionable. Good people need to know what evildoers are up to so that they can block them better,  before they get to far along to completing their plans.

Jordan Peterson On Personal Responsibility

Peterson denies that collective action on large social issues is the way to go. More effective is personal, self-improvement, and if enough people do that, then there will be social, widespread benefit.

When individuals seek to avoid personal responsibility for their failed lives, Pederson accuses them of fleeing into pseudo-moralistic perspectives of collective responsibility. Young people demand immediate action to solve global warming, and it might not be occurring even, but they want global, totalitarian, coerced forcing of all people and all countries to give up their economies, their liberty and their national sovereignty to a Soviet-style global government, a failed plan that will wreck all lives, bring hell on earth, impoverish all and enslave all, a terrible solution.

Do Theology

Go ahead and do theology, but forget about figuring God out. It is enough that God is always there to love you, to guide you, and accompany you. Rational understanding is not the answer to all needs.

With God

With God in your life, you cannot go too far wrong.

Joy

Joy is the unusual, extremely happy emotion that most of feel infrequently or not all. If we believe in and know God, at certain right moments, that experience and realization may bring us joy. If we individuate, love or do something heroic, we may feel joy.

Joy is too intense an emotion to feel for very long without wearing out, becoming jaded or just shutting down.

Perhaps, a temperate, quiet sense of satisfaction and gentle optimism is more useful, much more sustainable, more endurable.

Be An Optimist

All people fear dying, and Christians and I are not exceptions to this rule. But, Christians believe and rejoice in the divine promise from Jesus, that his death of the cross, opened the way for all humans interested and so expressing that interest to live forever in heaven with God after death. As Gandalf told Pippin in Lord of the Rings, "Death is not the end, but is the beginning of another journey."

If you welcome God and the Good Spirits into your heart and into your life, then there is a firm spiritual basis for your optimism about what will happen to you and where you will land after death. Welcome God in and find hope for the afterlife that is coming to you and each of us.

Always There

The Good Spirits are always there at hand, if you need them, acknowledge them, accept them, commune with them and enjoy their presence in your life.

You have to do the inviting for these immaterial angels are staunch individualists: they force themselves upon no human, acceptance of them must be voluntary, an invite from each human for the Spirits to enter their lives.

By extension, this applies to the Mother and Father too.

For Everyone

Christians teach that salvation is for everyone, and that is a most true, reassuring proclamation. God is waiting: are you ready to answer De's invitation, to receive De's grace and loving presence in your heart now and forever?

Seek God

Go, seek God, make contact, so that God and the Good Spirits may respond and may contact with you.

All You Had To Do Was Ask

God is the eternal paradox, an actual paradox. From the experience and perceiving of the conscious mortal, God remains aloof, invisible, incommunicable, unimaginable, hopelessly remote if even there at all.

But, for the believer that thinks, feels and intuits, God is right here inside the believer's heart, mind, soul and will. God is right out there at one's elbow, ready to be seen and conversed with those honest enough, loving enough, good enough and engaged enough as a living angel, to see the visible God that is only invisible to the uninitiated, the indifferent, the devotees of the Dark Couple.

For the believer, God is always there--all you had to do was ask, seek and call out for aid and assurance, and then God will answer surely and with comforting words.

Seeing God In Person

Has anyone alive right now ever seen the Mother or the Father in person, let alone conversed directly and intimately with De. Likely, some have but it would be a rare occasion, and impossible to prove or authenticate.

Common Sense As A Paradox

Charles Martin, a writer of an article (9/01/2019)   called "To Reduce Gun Violence, Arm All Americans", was listed on Facebook today.

I did not need to read the article because this common sense paradox is a solution to gun violence that I have been proposing for some time. The paradox is: when all members of the community are armed, gun violence is reduced. In Mexico and Chicago, where the populace is disarmed, gun violence is rampant.

To resolve the paradox, we need several qualifiers to be added. It is the law-abiding, peaceful, disarmed majority that should be armed. If all of them are carrying, then mass shooters, crazies, terrorists and criminals will be killed, wounded or disarmed quickly, and this will drive down the crime rate, because criminals will hesitate to hurt, when the good guy with the gun will put down, effectively and immediately, the bad guy with the gun.

Thus arming all law-abiding Americans will reduce gun violence.

The corollary to this is to jail and keep jailed, violent criminals, repeat offenders always armed and carrying illegally purchased guns.

No, Max

Max Stirner is incorrect: all is not utterly absurd, and there are applicable absolutes that bind us, and that we should  live under. There is absolute truth, objective truth, highly certain truth. All these things exist are meaningful. There is meaning. There are words and ideas that express human conceptions that all share and understand. It is not as bleak as he lets on.

"What's going to happen is the productive people in Virginia will begin to leave. A lot of people who believe in liberty will leave," Levin said during his radio show Friday night. Virginia Democrats won a majority in both houses of the state's legislature and are aiming to address priorities such as increased gun-control measures. State Democrats withdrew a senate bill that would have effectively confiscated firearms like AR-15s.

Such measures have sparked public backlash and demonstrations from gun-rights activists. More protests are expected early next week.
"These issues of the Second Amendment, the First Amendment, property rights," said Levin, "it's not about being a ‘right-winger.' It's about liberty…. People will look for freedom. It's like water finding cracks. But this is how it works, and this is the problem."
Levin also warned about a decline in civic knowledge.
"The principles upon which this nation was founded are not taught, they're not promoted, they're not embraced," he said. "A country cannot survive on its founding principles if its founding principles are not indoctrinated into one generation after the next."

My worry is that Northam and the Democrats robbing Virginians of their 2A rights, their First Amendment rights, and their property rights is a continuation of what Progressives are attacking middle America with on federal and state levels across the nation.

Depopulation will occur but is insufficient. We must educate our children and our adults to stand and fight back, based on civic knowledge and a historical appreciation of the American Way, and legal underpinnings from the Founders that made this remarkable constitutional republic what it is, and the envy of the world.

As states like Virginia turn purple or even blue, retreating to red states will not suffice. We must fight in all 50 states to push back the Progressive drive to transform America fundamentally into Ameritopia.

Mark Levin is one our our wisest voices about how culturally, legally and constitutionally to conduct ourselves in our private lives and in the public arena, to preserve the American Way and to preserve and restore the constitutional republic.

What Northam and the Democratic Legislature are committing in Virginia to infringe upon gun rights, to abrogate property rights, to assault and make inroads on the First Amendment will have the effect of driving liberty-loving Virginians to go to West Virginia or elsewhere.

Mark is insightful in proposing that we teach our children and our adult citizens civil knowledge so that we can save our troubled nation so far down the road towards Ameritopia.

My fear and concern is that, as red state like Virginia, turn purple or even blue, there will be fewer and fewer red states to retreat to. We conservatives must take the fight to liberal elites and Progressives in all 50 states to take back some of these purple states.

Government Incompetence

That is typical of big government and the LEFT. They destroy or make worse everything they touch. Why do they make things worse? Part of it is sheer incompetence. Part of it is lack of common sense learned from experience and mistakes made while living and working daily in the real world, something that bureaucrats, experts and academics know little about. Part of it is their complete inability to reify theory in a way that works in the real world. Part of it is their disrespect for individual Americans, that they know best what they need and how to achieve it, without universal directives hurled down upon all from Olympus (Washington), not workable in singular, private lives. Part of it is their addiction to centralizing all power in the hands of a few swamp elitists in Washington--their idealistic, impractical, rigid, absolutist, authoritarian outlook disallows them to receive and react in a timely manner to real-world objections, feedback and suggestions that would correct their unworkable plans.

How Things Turn Out

We do suffer. Things do not always go well, or the way that we planned.

How should we react? I think we should thank God for what we have received. Then, we must get along as best we can with the hand that we have been dealt. We keep striving forward. We improve things and ourselves as best we can for as long as we can.

What Kids Need

Conformist

You can be a conformist without a cause or a rebel without a cause, but you must rather conform and rebel as suits your ethical sense of ownness, accepting the consequences and blowback from society and God for choices made and stands taken.

You refute nihilism, postmodernism. You reject the bleak view that the human struggle is without hope, guidance, protection, love, meaning and purpose. You can believe in God. you can believe in yourself. There is plenty to believe in and not all universals are just mere words, and not all abstractions are without merit.

That Damned 17th Amendment

We need to reverse that 17th Amendment, no longer allowing direct voting on the state level to elect federal senators. If we would term limit them to 6 years, or one term, and then as supercitizens elect statesman legislators, the quality to appointed federal senators would go way up.

God gave you those inalienable rights, and your Progressive legislature cannot enact laws depriving you of them. That is tyrannical and unconstitutional. That is grounds for your revolting, and it is even your duty.

It is no wonder that students graduating from University have become educated fools. Dennis Prager now advises not sending children to college for its destroys them as people.

Incompetent And Arrogant

No. Is it common sense to set up gun free zones that crazies no that they can shoot up and butcher the public without being hurt themselves? No. The Progressive movement is out to confiscate our guns in order that unarmed citizens cannot fight back against Marxist tyrants imposing their will upon us under the coming totalitarian regime. When only the military and police have guns and they are agents and servants of the totalitarian state, then millions and millions of lives are lost as when Nazi Germany or the Communist nations of the last century murdered over 100 million disarmed citizens. That ultimate Progressive destiny made the citizens of those nations much less safe, and yet this is the Utopian world that the Left offers us. No thanks.

Caleb, associated with the Dorr brothers, does this common sense videos. He seems sensible and fair, if masculine and conservative. He criticized anti-gun zealots and are so in favor of murdering 400,000 babies a year via legal abortion. Here was my comment to him: "Great perspective, Caleb. The reason that Leftist fanatics like moms demand action can support contradictory, illogical gun control to save children, while gleefully supporting planned parenthood to abort over 400,000 children a year, is that their ideology has poisoned their thinking. Like in 1984 where freedom is strength and war is peace, progressive fanatics can be against "murder by guns" while being for mass murder by abortion. Their fallacious, absurd logic defies common sense, kindness and common decency.

Allie Stuckey Youtube Video

She has many videos on Youtube but one of her best ones is her Prager U one on "Making Men Masculine Again". That so much wisdom, truth and understanding could be condensed in a 5 minute video leaves me amazed. I do not know if she thought this up on her own, or if she is just the pretty, sexy conservative mouthpiece for such stunning insight, but it does not matter. What one should take away from the video is the correct appreciation of male virility, that it is desirable, should be taught to young men, practiced by all men, and is good for women and society.  A Western society of masculine men and feminine, ladylike women is not only compatible with self-realization of every individual (both men and women) but is necessary and irreplaceable for civil society, the next generation of which will be comprised of masculine but responsible men, and strong women, feminine and liberated, working and mothers, at the same time.

Stuckey starts her video by declaring that rape, murder and war have one thing in common: Men. The Left agrees with this statement as well as the Right, but the Left's offers the wrong solution: men can be made less toxic by being made less feminine. Stuckey counter-argues that demonizing men is not the solution but is the problem: "When you try to make men more like women, you don't get less 'toxic masculinity', you get more."

Stuckey identifies aggression, violence and ambition unchecked by conscience, the lawless state of mind and action that is wrecking our society, are committed by men. How do we make men less toxic. The Left wants men to be made the same as women, to make boys less masculine and more like women.

Stuckey denounces this trend in school as wrong and dangerous because when men are made more like women, we get more not less male toxicity.

Let me quote Stuckey: "Why? Because bad men don't become good when they stop being men; they become good when they stop being bad. Aggression, violence and unbridled ambition can't be eliminated from the male psyche; they can only be harnessed. And when they are harnessed, they are tools for good, not for harm.

The same masculine traits that bring destruction also defeat tyranny. The traits that foster greed also build economies. The traits that drive men to take foolish risks also drive men to take heroic risks.

The answer to toxic masculinity isn't less masculinity; it is better masculinity. And we know what that looks like."

Men and women are born evil. We cannot remake our natures. We cannot make men and women equal by turning men into women. With young men we must teach them values, love and self-control so that they harness their innate aggression, violence and unbridled ambition to better society and themselves.

As gentlemen, providing fathers and soldiers serving their country, men can be masculine but constructive as leaders, warriors and heroes as Allie points out. Stuckey admonishes: "When they deny their masculinity, they run away from responsibilities, leaving destruction and despair in their wake."

Children need strong, working dads in their lives. Children without dads lead broken lives.

Allie criticizes the educational and cultural thrust to feminize young men in hopes of achieving some utopian notion of equality and peace but the result: "This anti-male tilt continues on through higher education and into the workplace. It has created millions of tentative men, unhappy women, and confused boys and girls."

Allie's wise solution: ". . .Women want real men--men they can count on and, yest, look up to. No amount of feminist theory will change that. I don't know any woman, at any age, who is attracted to a passive man who looks to her to be his provider, protector and leader. Every woman I know wants a strong, responsible man. This is not a consequence of a social contract or cultural pressure--it is innate."

Wow, such practical wisdom from one so young.

Allie: ". . . Passive men don't lead. Passive men don't do the things we have always needed men to do for society to thrive. . . bad men who do the raping, murdering and warring; and weak men who won't stop them. We need good men who will."

Strong, good men that individuate can be leaders, heroes, providers, fathers and devoted family men. They will protect and defend their women and children, without dominating or abusing them. I believe that Allie makes some profound points in this video.

When the government officials commit a crime, it is legal. When we steal (and I do not), we go to jail.

Redistributing Wealth

Mark Levin, in Liberty and Tyranny, writes that Statists have used redistributing wealth via the mechanism of the progressive income tax to practice class warfare, and to bloat government beyond its constitutional limits (Page 78): "For the Statist, there must be a class struggle and must be a never-ending struggle, for it is perhaps his most valuable weapon in his war against the individual, the free market, and ultimately the civil society."

We must right-size government, and must unleash the capitalist hounds, so they can race around creating wealth and prosperity.

If one individuates in a significant way, after a couple of decades, one well could exist for the duration of one's life as a living great soul. As a living angel, one is now in a leadership role on earth, not to command, have power over or exploit and subjugate people, but as an example, and as a spiritual and moral light on the hill, not hiding one's light under a basket.

What this calling from God amounts to in particular for each of us must be interpreted by each of us, allowing God's whispering into his or her psyche to nudge the sleeping internal genius to awaken and express this unfurled genius in original, artistic ways, self-commissioned, of course.

Humans

I am a sacred humanist in that Mavellonialism is the suggestion that God calls each soul to realize his or her God-given talents, displaying each its singular genius, as a living angel, growing, developing, loving and leading as long as live is its to enjoy.

That said, I do not believe that humans are the last word on anything. There are many living species, some of whom are smarter and more advanced than we are.

We may die out as a species, and not even be missed that much. Our job is to serve God, humanity and ourselves by self-realizing, and history and destiny will guide the universe to whatever end it is meant to follow, regardless of human longevity or participation in such universal unfolding.

The Origin

I enjoyed this novel by Dan Brown very much. He has his protagonist, Robert Langdon, at the end of the book, Page 435, note and define the difference between a pattern in nature that is a natural pattern, and a pattern that is artificiacodes are code: "Codes , by definition, must carry information. They must do more than simply form a pattern--codes must transmit data and convey meaning. Examples of code include written language, musical notation, mathematical equations, computer language, and even symbols like the crucifix. . .Codes are the deliberate inventions of intelligent consciousnesses."

Langdon then goes on to speculate that genetic code may be communication to us from its Creator, not just another natural pattern, a proof of God's existence as Designer of the ordered universe.

I will accept on faith that God exists, that the universe is orderly, created from something, or from nothing by God, its creator.

Did Humans Invent God?

Did humans invent God to give their lives meaning, and to surround themselves with comforting fairy tales to hold back the cold, terrifying, incoming input from that remote, meaningless, silent, even hostile universe out there?

God was always existed, and has not been invented by humans. The cultural, linguistic and historical settings, for each nation in each generation, may well favor the invention of a particular version of God. That too some degree is a local invention, and to some degree the deity contacted, dreamed up and worshiped is likely a cousin or child of God, that give the local people someone to worship and look up to.

More Than Ever

Let me quote Dan Brown, author of the book Origin, Page 417: "Besides, if Kirsch's prophecy about technology's takeover was true, humanity was about to enter a period of almost unimaginable ethical ambiguity. We will need faith and moral guidance now more than ever."

His character, Bishop Valdespino, is thinking to himself in the above-mentioned quote, and he concludes that we need faith and moral guidance now more than ever, and that is quite true.

Mavellonialism with its brand new theology and ethical code could go a long way towards meeting human needs going forward.

Something From Nothing

Did life arise spontaneously from dead, inorganic matter or did the universe, matter and we living creatures, something coming from nothing--were we created by God?

I do not know, but believe on faith that God exists, and that God created or at leasted ordered the world. God could done so according to De's preconceived, artificial master blueprint, or God have done so through the world of physics and quantum mechanics.

I will await and see what science and theology in the future tell us.

Presidential candidate Pete asked what doe God think about church shootings. Here was my online response:

God made humans. God set up natural law to run the universe created by God. God bestowed upon humans inalienable, natural rights to defend themselves, and those around themselves, to preserve human life. This inalienable right to self-preservation and the preservation of one's family, one's neighbors, one's community, one's state and one's country leads to the God-given, God-backed, inalienable right to bear arms, as civilian militia members, and as private citizens, owning and carrying arms. The Founders knew all this intimately, and they wanted the right to bear arms not infringed ever, by tyrannical government officials or tyrannical majority parties, bound and determined to disarm Americans so that they could be subjugated, as old King George had done. God would not be against churchgoers being armed. God would be against evildoers using guns to slaughter innocent people, at church or anywhere. Armed churchgoers have a chance to make the difference.

The Christians and Jews in her district need to vote her butt out of office. I am not a devoted Christian, but am a cultural Christian, but Jesus is the son of God, and this great, good man and god, has brought a wonderful faith to the modern world. Dennis Prager, a Jewish intellectual, praises Judeo-Christian culture as the bedrock from which our Founders got their faith, values and philosophical first principles, upon which to build and justify our constitutional republic. Prager goes on to argue that Judeo-Christian culture gave rise to Western Civilization (Greek input was huge too), the source of liberty, prosperity and the technological wonders that make life better for billions. All of this is dismissed by AOC as superstitious nonsense to be ignored. Kick her out of office so she can go back to bar tending.

Trump authorized a drone attack that took out an Iranian general and other in Baghdad, and they were responsible for the deaths of many Americans, and likely were plotting more of them.

It turns out that the Progressives and Democrats, rather than rally around our Commander-in-Chief in a time of national crisis, are accusing him of warmongering and seeking to divert attention from the effort to impeach him.

They would sacrifice all America's safety just to gain political points. Leftists only want to destroy America, not protect its people from terrorists and international enemies.

Syncretism

On Page 411 of his book Origin Dan Brown writes of humans as a hybrid, (what was historically and biologically (half-beast and half-angel) is now 1/4 beast, 1/4 angel and 1/2 robot: "'Human beings are evolving into something different,' he declared. 'We are becoming a hybrid species--a fusion of biology and technology. The same tools today that live outside our bodies--smart phones, hearing aids, reading glasses, most pharmaceuticals--in fifty years will be incorporated into our bodies to such an extent that we will no longer be able to consider ourselves Homo sapiens. . . we will look back on today's Homo sapiens  the same way that we look back on Neanderthal man. New technologies like cybernetics, synthetic intelligence, cryonics, molecular engineering, and virtual reality will forever change what it means to be human.'"

I do not consider the futuristic vision of Brown, and his hero, Edmund, to be fantastic or far-fetched.

Rather, it will occur, more or less as they predict. Brown, obvious an atheist and secular humanist, does not take God or Lucifer's existences, alternative plans for humanity and the world, and how the incessant battle between good and evil raging in every human soul are all disregarded by Brown.

All these wondrous technologies can be used for good or for evil, and they will either usher in heaven on earth or hell on earth.

Humans are still 1/4th beast, and a world run by Lucifer, the worship of God the good deity and the training in and practicing of virtuous living being absent, people unenlightened as to the benefits of Mavelllonialism, people living in packs--all these negative influences on our condition and outcome do make it more likely that we shall fail than succeed.

With Mavellonialist training, our beastly core, our angelic side strengthened through personal individualizing, and the individuator's powerful singular personal will can compel the robot side of our natures to serve the natural, animal side.

It could all still work out, but of course there are no guarantees one way or the other.

Coud It Happen?

Could  the cosmology of naturalism be correct, and from inorganic molecules bouncing around and mixing and jostled by the laws of physics and sparked by some energy force, create life out of nothing, without the Creator?

I do not believe that is how it went, but nothing is impossible.

Rather, I feel justified in believing that God or Fate or both have existed for eternity and they made life  out of nothing or something.

Extremism

One definition, one of my favorite definitions of evil, is using a bad means to achieve a good end.

When good people, or idealists, often ruthless and insatiably power-hungry, resort to violent, cruel, involuntary, corrupt, illegal trickery, larcenous, dishonest manipulating and deceiving, these bad means spoil the good end. These dishonorable, extreme means  render the perpetrators more wicked and vicious than the evil ones that they are working to hard to vanquish.

Shortcuts will not suffice here. Do it right or leave it be.

Life Has No Meaning

You are an atheist and assume that life is without meaning or ultimate purpose. That is not my take on things, and what I believe on faith soothes me beyond measure.

Can I Prove That God Exists?

No, I do not care because you cannot prove that God does not exists. It is enough for me that I believe, think and feel that God exists, and is a comforting, guiding friend and higher power. That is enough for me.

Gun Safety Classes In School

Yes, it is a good idea that middle schools require students to take a gun safety course. We need to teach our children to love guns, respect and fear this lethal technology, and to prepare to be young adults as part of an organized national militia. The sister course for these kids to take is an ethics and religion class. God made humans, and human life is sacred. Shooting someone with a gun will end their life. Killing is serious business, so children must learn to be ethical, responsible kids that do not pick up a gun in anger, panic, as horseplay or without realization that shooting another human being is acting as if one is God. Guns are too prevalent in America for students not be be trained in ethics and gun safety, so that as adults carriers and armed citizens in a volunteer militia, they will conduct themselves sensibly and safely, but forcefully and lethally should the need arise.
