That Damned 17th Amendment

We need to reverse that 17th Amendment, no longer allowing direct voting on the state level to elect federal senators. We need to revert to state legislators voting to pick and appoint the  US Senators. If we would term limit them to 6 years, or one term, and then as supercitizens elect statesman legislators, the quality to appointed federal senators would go way up.
