Jordan Peterson, in his book, Beyond Order 12 More Rules For life, writes this on Page 65: "You do not choose what interests you. It chooses you. Something manifests itself out of the darkness as compelling, as worth living for, following that, something moves us further down the road, to the next meaningful manifestation--and so it goes, as we continue to seek, develop, grow and thrive. It is a perilous journey but it is also the adventure of our lives."
If these words from Chapter II would pique the interest of a young maverizer, she might have found or been lured to bond with the one thing worth living for or becoming, and that may well be her life quest. She will find much pain, exhilaration and growth from chasing after it, but she will look back and rarely regret the undertaking.
