I just noticed a similarity in the thinking of Stephen Hicks with that of Eric Hoffer. When Hicks reports that postmodernist Leftists posit that reality boils down to an incessant warring of rivals groups and parties, and that conflict and absurdity, and incessant seeking after raw power are the core of human metaphysical drives, he compares the postmodernist to the ancient Sophists that used skepticism and relativism as tactics used by ancient lawyers and elitists to win arguments and gain power. They were on the side of the rulers.
Postmodernists and socialists use skepticism and relativism as tactics to gain power and influence, but they are on the side of the dispossessed, the exploited and oppressed--or so they claim.
Realistically, both the sophists and postmodernists are really just power seekers, no matter how noble their claims sound.
Now read Eric Hoff from Page 237 of the book, The Syndicated News Articles by Eric Hoffer: "It is doubtful that the oppressed ever fight for freedom. They fight for pride and power--power to oppress others. The oppressed want above all else to imitate their oppressor; they want to retaliate."
The woke race-baiters grandstanding and announcing their ambition to lessen or reduce white supremacy that does not exist in America--this is reverse racism, where the former oppressed now want to turn the tables on whites, now color-blind, prejudiced against no one and bothering no one. The Leftist race-baiters are out to retaliate and to oppress whites.
These CRT fanatics are vicious, violent people and they must be halted in their tracks.
