Are there and should there be limits on individual freedom? Yes, there are natural law limits, self-control curbs, social restraints, legal limits, and biological instincts. These limits are in place and should be.
But we also want people to exercise as much freedom as they can responsibly handle as moral agents, as largely free, self-determining, self-governing individuator-anarchist supercitizens.
This entails that we should largely be freed up to chase after our self-interests if they benefit us, without harming our neighbor. An honest, kind, well-intentioned and reasonable egoist must and would agree to this and would normally know and identify where his rights end and his neighbors rights began.
