Psalm 82, 5-8

God will come down hard on ruling elites (gods) that exploit, rob, oppress and enslave the people and the poor. Lawlessness and injustice are rampant: "They know not, neither do they understand; they go about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said: 'You are gods, all you sons of the Most High; Yet like men, you shall die, and fall like any prince.' Rise, O God, judge the earth, for yours are all the nation."
