Ayn Rand Pocket Guide

I am a follower of Stephen Hicks a Randian philosopher with the Atlas Society. On July 13th, I received on my phone their article, The Atlas Society and they were offering the now available Pocket Guide To Self-Interest, A Go-To Guide on the Virtue of Selfishness.

Let me quote two paragraphs from this article and then comment on it: “A round of applause to the generous donors like you who made this Pocket Guide possible. The Atlas Society’s BRAND NEW Pocket Guide to Self-Interest is a quick and easy-to-read guide to understanding what is probably the most controversial aspect of Ay Rand’s philosophy, her defense of the ‘virtue of selfishness.’

Written by Senior Fellow Robert Tracinski, this pocket guide delves into Ayn Rand’s defense of ethical self-interest—putting your rights, achievements, and career at the forefront of your life . . . Grab your copy today and learn how YOU can counter the collective narrative that is anti-self and anti-life.”

My comment: for me, self-interest is virtue and putting one’s rights, achievement, and career (especially self-realizing) at the forefront of one’s life is the only way to live, be happy, and keep the Divine Couple, our bosses, happy with our performance and way of conducting ourselves.

We are to counter the Dark Couple and their children of darkness and their collective narrative that is anti-self, anti-God and anti-living and anti-loving.

All I would add to Randian ethics is natural theology and moderation if ethics and outlook.
