The woke, postmodernist cultural Marxists have been gaslighting every aspect of the traditional American Way of Life for the last 30 years or so, and they have gained considerable ground through their relentless campaign of prodigious, single-minded assault upon our culture and metanarratives. The effectiveness of their campaign is felt deeply, increasingly so, and is dangerously influential, now in the deep summer of 2026, as millions of millennials and Generation Z adults turn to socialism and Communism, Islamism and antisemitism as the alternative American future; this swift reversal of collective worldview in America boggles my mind after the Communists killed over 100 million people in the 20th century. The anti-Americanists are gaining ground, and are effectively recruiting the young and the social media gullible, immune to historical reality.
For example, one small instantiation of deconstructing what was traditional and beautiful, which I am deeply offended by--I cannot be forceful enough in my repudiation this slighting of parental authority--of the current practice of many adult children who call their living or deceased mother or father by their first name, rather than Ma and Pa, or Mother and Father, or Mom and Dad.
A parent is a natural and supernatural institution engendered and bless by God. A parent is a parent, and should be remembered, talked about, and addressed directly if living as Mom or Dad, not Sam or Louise, or whatever their Christian name is or was.
To not overtly, publicly always acknowledging this parent, as mom or dad, especially when they are or were faithful, responsible and loving is to degrade the sacredness of the role of parenting, a divinely upheld social institution. To deconstruct what was set up by God is to attack God’s kingdom on earth, and that is unacceptable, must be publicly identified and publicly opposed and excoriated.
