Mark Steyn was filling in for Rush today, and he quoted an article noting that within 6 years robots will be doing 50% of the world's productive work.
Robots will be starting off as unpaid, unskilled work drudges, but as they become intelligent, they will be smarter, stronger and faster, with no need for humans at all.
For us to compete we may need to live in a robot-free world. Or, as a race of individuators, we will be able to keep pace.
Humans must work physically and intellectually to stay moral and sane.
We will use our indviduator creativity to intent new jobs and businesses in a robot and capitalist economy to keep people full empployed. It is for the best.
