The law of moderation affirms it but the conflict, contradiction and rivalry for power and influence will remain, so the reconciliation can be fractured, and even, occasionally blown to smithereens, but a new synthesis, a new harmony can grow out of the chasm opened between the ongoing warring forces of the rational and the irrational.
