Prominent in Christian thinking--and think about Greek concept of divine punishment of humans for their sin of overweening pride (hubris)--is altruism and the need to humble oneself before God.
But, if I am correct. the Mother and Father are individualists: they command us to answer their calling to be living angels, to self-actualize, practicing egoist ethics and a lifestyle consistent with self-love and enlightened self-interest.
The Mother and the Father would not threaten to humble humans that exalt themselves, but might threaten to humble or punish humans that will not exalt themselves.
Ironically, it is the altruists that are selfish and inclined to overweening pride, getting puffed up, full of themselves and getting ahead of themselves, a blasphemous, rebellious, sinful attitude and reckless pattern of behavior. This misbehavior could lead to divine retribution, resulting in self-exalting and mob-self-exalting sinners being humbled by the Mother and the Father.
We human believers always want to fear the Lord and the Lady, and be reverent, respectful, obedient and verbally courteous, but the Divine Couples reject any suggestion that believers are to be yes-persons. There is a balance to be reached and kept here whereby good, holy, righteous, self-actualizers exalt the self in a mood of calm humility, and temperate prudence.
That way, we are not snubbing, competing against are attacking our ruling divinities.
