Chris and Ben Dorr with Minnesota Gun Rights, made a brilliant point about some powerful pressures at work at the Minnesota Legislature that have national significance and relevance.
I watched them on a video the other night as they excoriated timid Kurt Daudt and the other poltroonish Republican Representatives for just playing defense. Because RINO Minnesota Legislators are not on offense, pushing Stand-Your-Ground and constitutional measures, they havd given up the momentum, allowing Post Parkland gun-grabbers to take the offensive, pushing vicious anti-gun bills here: HF1669, HF1605 and HF3022.
The Dorrs offer that if a political movement is attacking, advancing, pushing, pushing, always on offense, then the gun-grabbers stay on defense, and the narrative goes pro-gun and the masses begin to see the world in pro-gun terms.
By only playing cautious, the tepid Daudt is being blown out of the water by angry, virulent, aggressive, screaming gun-grabbers.
Those of us that are Mavellonialists, Tea Partyers, Reagan Republicans and constitutional conservatives must ever attatck, attack and attack some more, controlling the narrative pushing politically, legislatively, educationally, socially and judicially our just cause.
We must be willing to engage our political enemies constantly, directly and in the open where the public is watching and interested: leadership requires a willingness to engage in knock-down-and-drag-out confrontation with our opponents, when necessary, in the public arena.
We must stay on offense until death takes us. That is how we advance God's cause and give the Good Spirits a bigger portion of this world to rule and manage.
