By being patient and cautious, we take time to allow what is going on to avail itself to us. By not being impulsive and reckless, we make fewer mistakes, avoid needless danger, do not embarass ourselves or acquire a reputation for incompetence.
We must gamble and take educated risks, but some research, investigation and receive expert opinion can save us a lot of headaches and needless worry.
