Sentimental

It is a comforting sentiment to urge that if we could spread love and quickly as we spread hate and negativity, what an amazing world we would live in. But feeling good about a noble sentiment is not the same as coming up with a workable solution to reducing hate and increasing love. Group-orientedness and human depravity make us hate ourselves and others. Add to this the Progressive ideology with its obsession and overemphasis on identity politics, and we have group versus group as race, gender, class and nationality grow in power, division and rivalry. Race war and tribal conflict will grow in intensity and reach. Instead of regarding each American as a unique indiviudal free to do his own thing and run his own affairs, the Left is pitting this group against that group. In doing so their are fanning the flames of hatred and eventually war. Identity politics are the worst cultural gift given by the Left to modern America.
