I do not much trust hierarchies, but there is a natural and/or supernatural one that is benevolent, spiritual and otherworldly and made up of this-worldly biological and material entities.
This classical hierarchy is an ontological one, with God at the top and gravel at the bottom.
An alternative metaphysical view of the relationship between God and the various creatures, beings, flora and objects in the world, would be depicted as something like a web of relationships latterly spread out.
