There are many theories or definitions of truth out there, and, the truth be told, truth is one of those complex abstractions that are never quite explainable with human words and communication.
Though as a dialetheist and ontological moderate, I could be accurately labeled as a thinker advocating a pluralist theory of truth, I quickly qualify that, noting that Aristotle’s definition, of truth as a statement that accurately describes some fact in reality, is the truest and major, intuitive theory of truth.
Truth is objective more than subjective. It is essentialist more than nominalist. It is rational more than irrational. It is dogmatic (The epistemological assertion that objective truth is knowable.) more than skeptical.
