The Conservative Tribune today carried an online article about reverse racism and reverse sexism practiced by a CEO that is leading to calls for boycotting this company. This black CEO of Sam's Club hires with diversity in mind, so one's race, ethnicity and gender are deciding factors in the hiring process.
She wants quota-driven diversity in her executive team, indeed she insists upon it.
This approach is illegal and ineffective.
Actual not contrived superficial diversity cannot be driven by government mandate or political correctness.
Deep, lasting, contributory diversity is gained in an organization by rewarding employees and executives to be themselves, to individuate even. Then the quality and quantity and originality of effort and innovation will skyrocket--that is the only kind of diversity worth pursuing.
