Our leader wisely notes that if existing gun laws were enforced criminals and gun-runners would be jailed and the crime rate would precipitously decline.
But the Libs do not want existing laws enforced, because solving the problem would deny the the opportunity to justify, how ever thinly, passing new gun laws.
