The Utilitarian

We live in the material world, and must get out there and make a living, and garnish a paycheck. We need to live in the everyday world, and so doing is necessary for a successful life, it is not sufficient.

We also must reach for the stars, create a new philosophical system, solve a mathematical problem, or invent a now, clever tool to make the manufacturing process at the plant a bit more efficient and easy.

We must start with utilitarian considerations, and every see the world from a practical point of view. But we are also, simultaneously heaven-sent, so we should always be gazing at, and traversing the stars.
