Red Flags or ERPOs deny gun owners their due process rights, with or without ex parte hearings, without an arrest, without a conviction for committing a crime; guns are confiscated, maybe forever. We have a right to bear arms, period. If mentally ill or murderous, arrest and hold the person, but do not let a gun-owners' enemies call the police and court to rob them of their gun rights.
