Existentialists have a point. I like idealism and love the power and efficacy of reasoning to empowerand libertate human kind, but we need not treat abstractions as if they are reified, flesh and blood reality.
All theories and Utopias need to be reality checked by how they play out in reality, how the public welcomes or refutes said reforms, and how willing are the reforming zealots to resort to force to pound the public into conforming submission and capitulation.
