If you refuse to participate in some law or procedure on religious and moral grounds, you may be punished or fired, but you must follow your conscience.
Are moral and religious grounds for behavior justification always the same thing? Most likely or they should be the same Moral goodness flows out of spiritual goodness.
If a religious person does evil and claims to be the follower of a benevolent deity, there is a problem there.
