No to red flag federal legislation: this is from MGR, and I sent it to federal representatives:

TELL MINNESOTA'S FEDERAL LAWMAKERS TO OPPOSE 'RED FLAG GUN SEIZURE' LEGISLATION!

'Red Flag Gun Seizure' legislation would allow anti-gun judges to order your firearms to be seized before you have been charged, indicted, or convicted of ANYTHING!

The complaint can come from an angry neighbor, an embittered ex-spouse, a former boyfriend/girlfriend and more.

And the hearing to determine whether or not you lose your gun rights is conducted ex-parte, meaning you are not even there to defend your name!

This bill destroys the American ideal of 'innocent until proven guilty' and obliterates your due process rights!

Republican Senators like Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham are already supporting variations of this bill, so we need to act fast to make sure that Minnesota's congressional delegation doesn't support these bills, too.

Gun control militaare trying to capitalize on their takeover of the Minnesota legislature by working to pass 'Red Flag Gun Seizure Orders' legislation; and
Whereas:      Gun control militant Tim Walz and his cronies in the Minnesota legislature are trying to capitalize on their takeover of the Minnesota legislature by working to pass 'Red Flag Gun Seizure Orders' legislation; and      Whereas:       Emergency ‘Red Flag Seizure Orders’ would destroy due process for gun owners by allowing gun-confiscation at ex parte hearings where a gun owner isn’t even allowed to offer a defense; and       Whereas:       Not only are protection orders as worthless as the paper they are written on, but this system will be abused to gin up support in embittered divorce and child custody cases;       Whereas:       Republicans in 'red states' all over America are supporting this bill, calling it a 'reasonable response' to recent mass shootings.    Therefore:       As a law-abiding voter, I demand you publicly oppose, block in committee and vote "NO" on any votes regarding 'Red Flag Gun Seizure Orders!'
