Epistemological Coninuum
From left to right, is my current epistemological continuum, from the most sketpical, irrational, pessimistic and subjective on the left over to the most dogmatic, rational, optimistic and objective on the right. Before I list the epistemological positions across the continuum, I wish to define epistemological pessimism and optimism. Epistemological pessimism is the perceiveer view that certain knowledge is hard to find and define, if at all. Epistemological optimism is the perceiver's stance that certain knowledge is knowable, ascertainable and can be linguistically described.
Here is the continuum: Nescience--lacking all knowledge; solipsism; Max Stirner, subjectivist.
Dogmatism or epistemism, or certain knowledge exists about existent objective reality, and is able to be grasped and written into statements.Aristotle, Ayn Rand, Mark Levin, and Dennis Prager are optimsistic that we can isolate and describe in words objctive truths.
The most extreme right side is the Dogmatism where true believer assert that they know the truth as covered by the ism that serve. Their truth claims are totalistic and absolutistic/
