How can one make things better? With the right set of values, and by controlling and disciplining himself, the individual can self-reform and become a strong, better person. Many conservative thinkers like Peterson and Prager have pointed out that self-reform is how to make the world better, not so much collectivist solutions. They are correct.
I would go further. If the average young person would don the Mavellonialist cloak of super-achieving, then individual effort at self-form would reap huge personal and social benefits as an organized bunch of individuating supercitizens push for social changes in ways startling, huge and actually progressive.
