This line from Genesis (New American Bible) is very noteworthy: "God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them."
Since God created humans in De's image and De created males and females, I conclude that because Adam had a wife, Eve, then God the Father has a wife that he is married to, God the Mother. Therefore, marriage is a divine sacrament, one that the Divine Couple share with their human counterparts.
God breathed life into humans, and in that breath was a divine spark, soul or life force. We have a soul as God has a soul.
Since humans have a personality, an ego, a self, then it it not unreasonable to infer that God too is an individualist and looks somewhat like humans do.
Let me quote this line from Holy Bible-KJV: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he him."
