Unfeeling

You can accuse me of being unfeeling to urge that others solve their own problems, and to life themselves out of poverty by hard work and wealth accumulation, but self-help for the most part is the only way to make one's lot better. A capitalist economy and equality of opportunity, and plenty of encouragement and the inculcation of self-dicispline in the young are all helpful strategies.
