I was listening to Dennis Prager on the radio today, and he claimed that almost all human instincts are bad and not to be indulged in, but the moral agent apparently must keep a lid on them.
I do not agree with him entirely, There are some instinctive, benevolent instincts, random acts of kindness towards, God, others and oneself, but most instincts are selfish, violent, cruel, destructive or predatory if not kept in check. Prager is mostly correct
