You are an atheist, a nihilist. You believe in nothing and assert that there is nothing to believe. You are quite the bleak one, are you not. You are filled with despair, but you will go on living, steeped in your gloom and pessimism.
That is one way to go, but it is not my way. I do not know for sure that God exists, and certainly cannot prove it, but I choose to believe, and it offers me great comfort, love and support to so believe. Why not put your trust in God, and the rewards here and now, and hereafter will flow to you bounteously.
