From my The New American Bible I copy this line: “The Lord shall reign forever and ever.”
My response: This canticle ends with the line that almighty God will reign forever and ever. Not only is God eternal, but God will reign forever. That sounds like a deity to befriend and ally oneself with!
Here is that same quote from the Holy Bible: “The Lord shall reign forever and ever.”
My response: The wording from these two quite different Bible are identical, and I have never see that occur before.
