Repaired

I will copy out a short homily from The Cavalier Chronicle. This homily is on Page 7 of the paper, dated 12/6/2023, and the homily pertains to 12/10/2023, and is from the 1992 Revised Common Lectionary. I will comment on the article, entitled Road Repair: “Sometimes life’s path is rough. Sometimes we dig our own ruts. Sometimes they just appear. Our life road always can use cleaning up and straightening out. Do it before it is too late. In church this week, join others working for better lives. Prepare the way of the Lord. Mark 1:1-8.”

My response: The way of God is a trail through reality, and we are to do road repair internally and on that road, for when God’s car comes along, we hope to be invited to hop aboard and travel with God in this world and in the next.
