Some intellectuals are absolutely baffled why Eric Hoffer was obsessed with Israel and its survival. I would like to offer some speculative reasons why.
First, Hoffer was the first Mavellonialist, and as such, he is aligned with truth and truth patterns, seen and undetected; he knew that the Israelis were very special, indeed, God's chosen people. Well, in a world that is run by Satan and Lera, where most people, born depraved, live wicked or at least unenlightened lives as groupists and group-thinkers, and the pack is the heart of darkness, these children of darkness, the vast majority, intuitively sense that the Jews are with God, and if they are murdered, thwarted, suppressed or wiped out completely, then God's kingdom is that much farther from being established on earth. It is cunning, to destroy your enemies before they get stronger, better organized and form alliances.
Second, Hoffer sensed this specialness about the Jews, and that, if humans and nations murdered all Jews once and for all, pure Hell on earth would have been unleashed even unto the end of time for humans. Therefore, Hoffer wanted Jews protected, to stave off the worst demonic tyranny and despotism imaginable. Of course, secular Marxists, want to bring about hell on earth, so they would not understand what Hoffer was raising the alarm about.
Third, Hoffer was no idealist, but a realist, but he did hint that we need to get to the point that we target no people and no nation for destruction--that is the mindset of killers, living demons and the application of their poisonous ideology.
