Exodus 15:11-13

The major deities, then monotheistic giants, Yahweh, and Yahweh, are or sure seem to be more powerful than minor good deities, and we are urged only to worship the great deities.

I think that is a personal choice, and that the great good deities are not jealous, or upset if one worships a minor good deity, for they are all playing on the same team as friends and allies. There is zero need for tension among, let alone holy war conducted going forward between rival believers of competing good deities, major or minor.

Here is a passage from a canticle in Exodus, The New American Bible: “Who is like you among the gods, O Lord? Who is like you, magnificent in holiness? O terrible in renown, worker of wonders, when you stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them! In you mercy you led the people you redeemed; in your strength you guided them to your holy dwelling.”

My response: God guided those he saved to his holy dwelling. This could be the Promised Land or heaven after death.

Here are these same verses from the Holy Bible (KJV): “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.”
