Until Now

It seems obvious that Jesus and the good deities are omniscient or near omniscient, and can prophesize the future much of the time.

With that understanding, a modern egoist like I am could ask why the good deities, thousands of years ago, allowed or even approved of altruist ethics over egoist ethics, even though the latter is far superior morally.

I have come to see that these good deities are Individuators, Individualists and egoists with a keen sense of responsibility as divine rulers and leaders to take care of the community on heaven, earth and in space—that is their altruistic contribution, their selfless side.

Ancient humans were far more uneducated, superstitious, communal, and tribal. They would not have understood egoist ethics at all, though they were as smart then as we are now.

The good deities knew that altruist ethics at least gave them some level of ethical training to help them survive, and it does no good to push people beyond what they are able to grow into and adjust to, namely living as egoists and maverizers.

Altruism seems to be baked into the world religions and that is probably how it had to be.

Ancient peoples were somewhat analogous to a modern patient seeing a therapist over a psychological illness or flaw inflicting him. The therapist will work with the patient for months and perhaps years to help the patient shed layer after layer of paralyzing illusion, lies and delusions causing him not to function and heal.

He the patient, like the ancient religious believers, can only absorb so much truth at one time; if pushed far beyond that point, or brutally assaulted with the unvarnished truth too soon before being strong enough to take it all in, the shock of it often destroys the recipient in therapy or an ancient religious believer.

If the individuality and level of awareness of the recipient is ignored or pushed aside by a cruel, impatient, brutally frank truth-teller, the result could be the patient dies of a heart attack, goes permanently mad, becomes an atheist, commits suicide, or turns to life of riotous sin or even mass murder. The brutalized recipient could be lost forever.

The therapist and good deities know this only too well, so things like moral truth is shared with each successive generation a bit at a time, until we get to Ayn Rand in the 1940s with her egoist morality; now the pace quickens.

The time has come to share egoism with the world, for they are or should be ready, and they need to hear about it and use it if humans are to survive and have a future. The good deities wants egoism shared now with the masses.
