Some have argued that connatural, innate suffering (sickness, accidents or tornadoes, suffering) is not unjust--it is just an act of nature. That seems fair and reasonable.
What kind of suffering would be unjust? I would recommend that what Jordan Peterson labels as the malevolence that taints existence as unjust suffering. The malevolence can come from within oneself, from neighbors, family, from Satan himself.
